10/5 I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont know how to explain it but this concept is weirdly interesting to me : what would happen if you gave powers to a teenager and an old man? it was really fascinating for me to see how they used it in a different way yet for the exact same purpose. although the reason why they became machines is still kinda blurry to me, i do have one irrational theory that comes to mind though first few chapters were really heart breaking, his family wasnt grateful for his efforts as a really old man (especially the daughter) which kinda pissed me off : they left him all alone unpacking their shit meanwhile they ate at a restaurant; the only person that truly loved him was the dog. also not only his family didnt treat him right, some teenagers didnt treat him right too which pissed the shit out of me. as he saved people later in the story, his efforts were aknowledged and people started treating him differently than before (including his family), which pretty much shows the hypocritical side of society. the ending was very sad for both characters.. other than that the antagonist was very well written too. a must read!!!

1555555555/5 this manga is a fever dream frl the story is really good and really nailed the eerie aura of the final chapters of part 1, also everyone pretty much dies. kobeni had a really cool chara development! loved the scene with her and denji in the end. about denji and power's relationship, honestly i interpret it as just love, not romantic or anything, just love. some say its like siblings love but there are some things that are questionable for siblings and tbh based on their backgrounds id say that normal love is fitting. they just care for each other and developed one of the most unique bond ive seen in manga. nonetheless the second part seems very promising ngl, i wonder what that makima kid is doing though. also the return of that piercing dude was unexpected, as he pretty much was a side character for a short time in part 1. i cant wait for the next chapters. edit : i saw this edit on insta that gave me an idea of something to add; i LOVED the way the story slowly portrays makima as a villain, the author did that very well and it's amazing.
