Bloom
4.5 stars. Loved the unique art style. It kinda felt very slow burn and kinda boring at first but I liked the chemistry between the characters. Loved the happy ending too, especially how Aristotle finally realized what's most important in his life (not that douchebag Cameron who's always a jerk and their dreams of starting a band). Hector was absolutely perfect and lovely I loved him so very much. Beautiful lovely couple.
My Way With You
!!!!!!!! Speechless????? Yaoi Webtoon. The art is literally PHENOMENAL I can't get over it!!! So soooo beautiful!!! The relationship is so so wholesome I love it. Definitely very very yaoi but sooo wholesome otherwise. Will definitely reread 1 million times if I need to! Disappointingly short 6 chaps but very long panels thankfully. A guy loses his grandma, his only family, and has a one night stand with some random stranger. Some time later he meets a super good looking (and I mean SUPER GOOD-LOOKING) guy and they mess around, and eventually find out they're majoring in the same college dept. So so very wholesome but very untame have to be careful. But God the art is literally out of this world!!!
Don't forget that I like you
ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! literally such a comfort read! Absolutely adored every Second of it! Was my 2nd time reading it and thank God i gave it another reread. Had no records of my feedback from the First time so it definitely felt like i was reading it for the First time all over again. Soo ADORABLE!! Loved the art so bad! All the characters were soo loveable and loved their development, personal as well as relationship-wise. Would 100% reread if i ever need a comfort read, just like Mistake Lover. Also, the secondary couple was awesome. Loved the internal denial from the best friend and how Absolutely adorable all their interactions are. Loved the tameness; perfectly tame but satisfying enough
A Painter Behind the Curtain
Art definitely leaves a lot to be desired. I definitely enjoyed the pretty original plot (?). Absolutely hated the seme (Raymond) at times and his obsession with power and lack of self awareness when it came to holding Ian back. Hated how long the "marriage" arc was. So stupid and annoying. Also hated Ian at times for how spineless and dependant he was on Raymond and how he was willing to go through everything and lose all his loved ones and things just for Raymond's sake (whom at the time literally didnt deserve a speck of his attention). Raymond's 'epiphany' was kinda anticlimatic and I was hoping Ian had remained missing for longer just to make Raymond's suffering and anguish satisfying and worth it. Really liked (but was bummed by the lack of focus and development of) Raymond's sister Kaya and Ian's apprentice Nicholas (?). Loved their enemies-to-lovers story and i wish the author had tried to focus on them a little more. Certain scenes were very frequent, had to skip LOTS, but was overall a very enjoyable read. Not sure about a reread but if i do id definitely check out ch. 66 cuz thats when Raymond finds Ian in that small town and finally breaks down and eventually gets their lives back on track.
Oni to Tengoku
Absolutely lovely. Art is insanely good. Gets even more amazing as u read further. Probably one of my absolute favorite mature 'older' couples. Uke is Old but so precious (not THAT old, thank God. He's 36) and seme is soo precious as their story progresses and he only becomes more and more precious and pretty. Absolutely adored the 'uke fell First but seme fell harder' trope in this. Insanely lovely. Would 500% reread.
Love So Pure
LITERALLY ONE OF THE BEST MANHWA I HAVE EVER READ!!!!!! WILL 9000% REREAD!!! (but tbh i'll only read starting from S2 (ch. 39). Daeshik and Yosef. Not that into season 1's Jihyun and Yohan.) will very definitely reread every single chapter starting from s2 EVERY time!!
