Plot: Yu Yang was tasked to welcome new students and help them settle in. Among them was Li Huan, a tall guy who didn’t talk nor react much. Although their start was a bit rocky, the two eventually become friends and feelings happen. However, several misunderstandings stand in the way. (Yu Yang, openly gay x Li Huan, bisexual/possibly gay?) Threee side couples: Uncle Pan, a bartender x Qiu Jie, the 'playboy' son of a wealthy family. x2 age gap Huan Wen, a uni student and Yu Yang's closeted friend x Yuan, a uni student with a slight stuttering speech disorder and a passion for music. Li Huan's two friends who got together, a fujoshi girl x a shy guy Opinion: They’re all so cute!! I especially love Yu Yang and Yuan. I don't remember much of the early chapters since I started it, like, either last year or late 2019, and IIRC the misunderstandings that kept popping up made me feel quite annoyed, but it was a pretty nice read! If it was possible, I would've liked to see more of Yuan and Huan Wen-- like, how did the confession go? Who made the first move? Their relationship was already quite domestic before they got together, though, so I guess I'm still satisfied in the end!

With his old ‘rival’, Lan Wangji, he slowly uncovers the truths that had been hidden for years. Read the novel several times, listened to audio s1, and watched the live drama. The novel will remain special for me since it was the first BL I’ve ever read— I’m also glad it was since I loved it. 10/10 will re-read again. I’ll always have a soft spot for WY and WN. I love them so much.
