The step brother is caught making love to the younger brother by the parents. They immediately send for him to kick him out and the step brother kills all of them and blames it on thieves. The elder brother then confines the younger brother and hides him away from the world, killing and beating up any servants who sleep with his younger brother. His brother was to be married but since the parents died, the elder step brother takes the younger's place in the marriage, marrying the younger brother's once-soon-to-be wife. unlike other victims of confinement, the younger brother, Dongwim, doesn't hold his tongue. He says what he needs to say with no sugar coating. Both leading on and despising his step-brother for following. He's quite the confusing character. Too calm in my opinion. His parents were murdered in front of him, he was confined, but he remain with one emotion written on his face. Almost a little bit unsettling. I feel bad for the bride who will now be in a loveless marriage. The author attempted to add symbolism or follic symbols with the plum blossom trees but it was too vague to tell what it was supposed to represent. This had a bad end where the uke never once tries to esccape and idk I wish he did more, was more expressive than just one look on his face. Overall not my favorite. The ending really did it for me- I was waiting for something more than just flashbacks. 2.3

SHORT 4 CHAPTERS a bit of an abrupt ending but its alr A guy never confesses his love to his friend and the friend ends up getting married AND HAVING A KID :C He never moved on from his first love and never said anything. The kid grows up to be infatuated with the mc. The mc is older now and the kid (grown up) moves into his house for college. The kid is kinda touchy at first but the mc avoids him because ml reminds him of ml's father. One night, mc gets wasted and the kid brings him home. While he's drunk, he accidentally confesses how he's always liked the ml's father. When the mc wakes up, the ml kisses him and they have sex. After that day, mc avoids the ml until the ml confronts him. They kiss and have sex. The ml says he didn't care if mc saw his father in him. But now, he does and he hopes he'll see him for him and not for his father. Ok a couple of things. Nothing is ever said about the mc's feelings for the ml. This was basically sugar coated rape. The ml just kind of forces himself onto the mc and the mc says stop but then takes it? The rape factor wasn't really needed no matter how much I like it. Had this had more than 4 chapters we would've seen how the mc will prolly never look at the ml and not see his father. At first I was a bit torn by the age gap because the mc babysat the ml alot when he was younger so it felt a bit weird. Maybe if they were strangers I'd feel a bit better about the whole situation. Most of this story was the ml taking the lead and doing the talking even though the mc was older. I guess its fine now that i'm typing it out but nothing about the mc's feelings aside from his first love is explained or resolved. The ending was so abrupt I actually thought there was another chapter coming Overall maybe 2-3️ when they're this short it's always hard to rate it but this one is different because it genuinely feels like theres stuff missing. It feels unfinished rather than just short.

BBBORRRINGGGG God damn this was so boring I was literally skipping through chapters which I never do. The yandere just did not hit. The 7 yr time skip js felt rushed afterword and did not start off the second season strongly at all. Dropped at chapter 59 .5-1/5️

Started: 2025-04-09 Finished: 2025-04-09 I gave up on the last chapter but he was losing his shit. They’re both fake as fuck and playing each other. It’s psychological but I was just here for the porn not the plot so I gave up in the last chapter but it is what it is this story was gross anyways 1.2️

SHORT (6 CHAPS) Started: 2025-04-24 Finished: 2025-04-26 At first I was a bit iffy because Guideverse has never been my cup of tea and it was pushing it for this to also have nameverse which I’ve *never* read before. But nevertheless, by the end, I was on board with it. If anything, this felt more devotion than possession. I also liked how they can hear each others thoughts when they’re connected, physically or emotionally. The synch thing was a nice touch! I liked how it evolved to at the end, just by talking to each other, they can synch. A typically but short Guideverse with also a touch of nameverse. Ml breaks the stigma of guides being for espers, publicly announcing that instead of Mc being his one guide, he is mc’s one esper. So instead guides only having one esper and espers having any number of guides, espers have one guide and guides have however many espers, flipping the power dynamics. That was quite a nice touch. Kudos to the author. Overall maybe like a 5.6️ It didn’t stand out to me much but it did a little
