Serenade of the Pirate King
My rating: 8/10 This is one good harlequin. It's different, there isn't such a power gap between the FL and the ML. They're both strong in their own way and free each other from their chains. It's cute. PIRATES, MARRIAGE, HISTORICAL In order to help her father, a noble lady has to marry an influential pirate who is officially allowed to run his business. But one the way to him, her ship gets attacked by the notorious ghost ship and she becomes a captive. Hishakaishindo
My rating: 9,6/10 This is a well-written story with interesting and complex characters. The uke's a bit fucked up, especially in the first half bc he never got true friends and he envies the seme who's honestly is just a good guy. It takes time for them to fall in love, but that's what made it good. SCHOOL LIFE, MUSIC, PLAYBOY UKE The uke one day encounters the seme on their school's rooftop and they become friends. The uke always sings unconditionally and won't tell why he apparently has given up on music. But when the seme sees him getting a bj from the school nurse, the uke starts to treat him differently.
Backstage Lovers
My rating: 6,5/10 It's enjoyable. I really like the uke, he's serious has some character and is the perfect partner for the playboy seme, they complement each other well. But the romance part is too short. COLLEGE, MUSIC A laid back music student (seme) who can't found a band bc of his perfectionism has a bad first meeting with a student (uke) studying composing music who's the son of a famous maestro. The uke can't play piano in front of a crowd, but then the seme finds a way to make him join his band
