ryo/kaito;; the path towards their relationship was really fucking wobbly so i wasn’t expecting a lot but when they got together, ryo proved me wrong (was extremely wary of him). he ensured that kaito is always feeling heard and valued and although it’s just logical for him to ask kaito to voice out his concerns, he still decides to let kaito take his time and wait it out all the while providing possible solutions for kaito’s probable concerns. they’re such a healthy couple towards the end, it’s so heartwarming! also ang pogi ni ryo nung nagpagupit siya, he’s kinda insane.

PERFECT NO NOTES…… fucking love it when a character’s super forward abt their feelings but the moment their love interest returns their feelings they fold and turn demure. ITS SO GOOD

kino/yano;; OH GOD …. EVERYTHINGS GREAT !!!!!!! i love this so much wow i am always in awe whenever authors are capable of writing people who are actually in love with each other !!! it’s insane

dangami/aoba;; its insane how much this is paced like a fucking crime romcom . i love it….. aoba getting thrown into the yakuza world and although he’s had his fair share of dangerous situations, dangami makes sure he’s safe in his presence. and the companions line OOOOUGH it was serious for me! and aoba’s is so lovable i love how hes so expressive and even whiny at tines but never annoying hes so cool

tensei/makito;; where do i even begin with this… i love that makito said that tensei helped saved him because as much as people preach that you shouldnt make other people your salvation, its a lot easier to see urself in a better light when theres someone guiding u through the darkness. i also think its really great that makito decided to stay because as much as he loved modeling, its better to live a life where u know u r surrounded by people who love u and care for u openly as opposed to being in an environment where everyone’s proclamations of love for u are loud but are actually the farthest thing from being sincere. i also think it’s lovely how tensei once lied about their arrangement, insisting that he forced makito to be his model just so makito wouldnt feel the need to confess his feelings in case he still wasnt ready for it. they are just so taken wt each other that people take one look at them and just do no doubt that theyre a couple. this is just such a great story oh my goodness;; 1st reread

jean/yuki;; YUKI MY FAVORITE MC AND JEAN MY FAVE MALE LEAD… jean has been thoroughly traumatized by star scales and abhorred himself because of it but the more he gets to know yuki, the more he thinks that it would be different and special if it’s yuki who’d forward his love to him… 1st reread

gakuto/usaco;; THE UNCLE PLAYING CHOCOLAT WAS SO FUCKING UNHINGED HES HONESTLY FUCKING INSANE also come on couldnt they have made gakuto a college student ?! like itd still fulfill the trope the author so badly wants to achieve

haruki/hikaru;; ok hear me out… wouldve liked haruki to continue his schemes because it was a bit too good but also really liked how they ended it so everythings still dandy

hiyori/makoto;; this made me cry… this was so beautiful — a reminder that love is persevering but it doesn’t have to be burdensome. a reminder that the right people will make you feel heard and loved. a reminder that kindness and love are too life changing to be kept under wraps and hidden from people who deserve them. i love this so much. god.

saki/yuto;; r u kidding me… it had the scene where the love interest looks at the sky and says its beautiful as the person agrees while looking at them . fuck !!!!!!!! also this was pretty great bc in the beginning ud think yuto is being led around but towards the end si saki nagkakandarapa para mahanap si yuto after he left the salon bc he was convinced that getting a haircut n looking the way he did when they first met would raise the chances of him being liked back by yuto like… that was peak self redemption it was kinda crazy . and also jeopardizing his application in a big company, and frankly telling the ceo—who happens to be yuto’s father—that he shouldnt be trivializing the way yuto grew up for self atonement? what more can u ask for honestly
