Getting to Know Grace
The ending made me tear up. I wish that rat bastard Duke suffered more before his death, but Andrew strangling him lifeless with her bare hands are a consolation prize. Bittersweet ending, with the promise of Herta's love being equal if not more for Andy. I wish these girls would live long, loving lives.
Liveta
I absolutely love love love the premise, the worldbuilding, etc., I just wish the author was more heavyhanded with how she portrays Victor Luna. While I know that he's this big bad boogeyman people are afraid of, to me, it just seems like he's an amorous harlot who has some violent scenes. It's the classic case of 'action girl', but in a man's body. It's disappointing. I hope the author stops treating him like a sex object to move the plot along.
King's Maker
I love Shin. He's the best BL manhwa deuteragonist out there. Wolfgang close second. Edit: side stories It's both annoying and is disturbing to me how the artists draws women bodies they all look like they're teenage girls?? What happened to the lesbian couple???? They look like they got de-aged 25 years????? Even the "queen mother" person. I swear she looked bigger in the past chapters. And NO it's not the clothes. Edit: the epsilon chapters are so fucking boring Another edit: the later seasons are so fucking convoluted, even the second was fine. adding way too many characters way too quickly made for poor characterization and even poorer pacing. their kid was okay.
Run Away, Assistant Manager Ha!
Cute! I hope Manager Ha becomes more confident in himself and beat up his boss. He would deserve it. Chapter 14: Aaaand, there it is. MC getting sexually harassed yet again. Wow, it's almost like....... every author and their mothers are doing this whole "let's sexually assault the effeminate, meek gay boy". I want to maul that blonde bitch Aiden. I want him GONE.
Double Trap
Crash Into Me
Handsome Girl and Sheltered Girl
The Foul
Absolutely beautiful, but the writing is taking itself too seriously. While I know comic/mahwa can be somber and serious, there is a difference between good, heavy writing and just slapping a bunch of words together so the pages don't look too empty. I've never had a neck crick from reading anything before, but now I do.
Glasses Cloth and Playlist
One of my favourites! I always come back to reading this whenever I see it pop up. I love love love how Seomin's portrayed; he's not the usual waifish "uke", he's a fully fleshed out character who is still very much masculine and owns his own sexuality and actually has a backbone. Bada is also a great character; I remember thinking "finally, an MC who is so smitten with his partner AND doesn't pull any dumb manipulative tricks to get with him!" Even the sex is wonderful and awesomely drawn; it feels as if it's part of their story and not as a bribe for readers just so they'd stick around. Overall, it's such a fun, light story that everyone should read.
