The best executed manga about having to make difficult decisions and what makes a person happy. It doesn’t shy away from discussing topics “taboo” subjects. I honestly never expected any manga to even remotely go into detail to what it means to be a man or women. To be gay and outed to your entire social group (school). Or to question how one differentiates a friend from a lover- something I myself always question. Who would they choose between those choices? It clearly and passionately illustrates these topics in such an impactful way that lets the reader now that the creator knows what they’re talking about. It splices these often more serious issues with moments that make your heart melt. Every relationship felt real and I wanted to see all the characters I came to cherish happy. All the characters are flawed in their own ways but still look up to each other knowing those flaws. I think this is what makes this manga so unique to me.
