My sister says it is a good read...not typical...it points out the flaws in this genre...she doesn't magically get the love of the MLs...they hate her and she hates them...she thinks it's unfair and it is...she wants to go back...I wish that for her too even tho I only heard about it from my sis...an emotional read...not sure if I can handle it....will read later... definitely...not in the right headspace these days for this type of story right now.. Update : So I read it and it is excellent..from the characters to the plot and the emotions. Anakin and Eris, my ship please set sail. Helena surprised me. She was not as one-dimensional as I thought. The crown prince and the Emperor I want to kill tho.

The title 'villainess' is totally earned..there is no irony to that title..she is vengeful, selfish, unapologetic, manipulative and a bit of a seductress as well. So like the title says she reverses time by using the hourglass which appeared before her in her moment of death being used by her step sis..She on the execution hall regretted her actions of malice towards her step sis but turned out she has been dancing on top of her palm for the longest time so in this life she vows to destroy her and everything she cares for..her mom who died under mysterious cause in her lastlife seems to be the doing of Mielle(step-sis)as well, she was a commoner born to a prostitute mother so she is looked down upon by society..she is incredibly beautiful and gorgeous as well taking after her mother so many men vied for her affection..but as later revealed to us by her, she says they only liked her for her looks and did not want anything serious..She has golden hair shining brightly and radiantly in contrast to Mielle's platinum and straight hair, so while MC was in the face kind of beauty, Mielle was more of a subdued beauty it seems like...also ml is not as smart as other ml's in this kind of manhwa but I love that although some comments call him an idiot..I think he is quite smart..also there seems to be some kind of a connection between her and ml in her lastlife as well as now..Oscar the fiancee of Mielle was a target for MC so she tried to steal him by acting pitiful and fragile..I mean it worked and the way they treat her in their household is a testament to it...he falls in love with her but is powerless against his sister who is ml's fiancee and a powerful person who thinks Mielle is an useful tool to accomplish their needs..she also thinks mc has dirty blood..I feel for Oscar truly..mc knows the future so she is able to know the trends of the market and help out with her step-father's business which she later finds out that she was never credited for, she grows angry and doesn't want to provide any more input..also the fact that he keeps trying to match her up with what they presumed to be a merchant who frequents their house angers her..he does it so openly as well so her mom is also not pleased with it...MC is also quite emotional and imperfect which I love..but the fact that she uses the hourglass so recklessly irks me so much even tho she seems to understand it's consequences..that's it for my review

I know I've read this..and it was typical..with cliche plot and situations as well as characters..I was bored while reading this..so I dropped it

I read this before..I don't remember much tho..but I think it wasn't that bad..can read it when bored

A villainess forced to be a villainess..time seems to be reversed..the true villain will make her a villain. Truthfully after finishing this manhwa because of my persistence, I can say it is a bit below average in terms of storytelling, art, plot, originality, characters and chemistry as well as the magic system. The plot is messy as heck and all over the place. Our MC is actually a God? I guess our author had many ideas she wanted to fulfill in a single manhwa, so many plot holes as well as cringey lines and repetitive and stale interaction. Also about intimacy between characters, I can't feel it, I know they are saying the lines and looking at eachother with longing and lust and desperation and all but the art doesn't showcase it and there is no hint of emotions on their faces. If there wasn't a word right beside it stating their emotional state, I genuinely won't know..like our ml smirks all the time so I didn't even know he was grinning and he always had that blank look in his eyes so I couldn't feel the longing and love he felt for our MC...What I do know is when he is in yandere mode, there are a bit to of a darker background so there's that. Our MC is a huge disappointment..like girly what is up with u for goodness sake..her logic and reasoning skills as well as her boss moments were hard to sit through..but I did it..72 chapters in and it is over!!

I won't call her a strong MC or a pushover either..I didn't read a ton..maybe the first ten chapters or so but I got a decent idea on how it's going to go and I don't like it..A bit of a TMI, I read this a while back with my sis so it is getting a bit mixed up..but our MC and og fl are in a novel which Ginger (MC) discovers by reading a book..so she had no prior knowledge about this fantasy world that they are in..I mean magic and so are like a common occurrence for them so..Anyway the content revolves around the ML who was locked up in a tower (male Rapunzel?) cuz of something and upon release firmly and diplomatically places himself on the Emperor's seat tho it was his by default..the most impressive thing was that he was able to keep the nobles in check and make the peasants satisfied as well..the secret to all that success was..he a mindreader baby..and he gets attracted to og fl as hers is the only mind he cannot read..the secret behind it is the necklace she wears that is a family heirloom I think and to noone's surprise our MC is the villainess!!..so what does our MC do with this information? Well...she decides to steal the necklace ofcourse..she doesn't succeed cuz PLOT!.and also cuz she isn't the sharpest tool in the bunch...I mean that precious information was used for something so trivial and petty..ugh..maybe I should be the villainess..anyway she goes to the party in celebration of the ml and ofcourse she falls head over heels for him..it was kind of a given honestly..and also in the novel it mentioned that she fell for him at first sight so fate or something seems to be at play here...She doesn't have the necklace so her mind is being read and she thinks back to her childhood embarassment that comes from her name 'Ginger' and ml chuckles a bit and she goes red..when dancing time started, ml had to dance with og fl and since MC knows the future via the book..She screams in her mind 'Crown prince I know your secret and....secret revealed ' ya know..then ml goes in search of MC and then I..dropped it

I don't know how to feel about this..I dropped it cuz yeah..

So fucking confusing..read this in Wattpad when I had nothing good to read and consumed every single thing I found..not super engaging at least for me

O (>∆<) O....Oh my gosh!! I found a hidden gem ..the art is great!! The characters are engaging...the plot is simplistic yet hits all the right spots!! The MC knows how to turn on her charismatic side and plays the aloof villainess role very well...and also probably cuz she is from the modern world, she easily manages the estate and knows how to profit as well using the knowledge of the future..So proud, it really warms my heart..The ml is also to my taste which surprised me as two hits in a row is rare!! The fact that he had such a good and memorable first impression of the og villainess and thought her to be the most beautiful person he had ever seen and him waking up after almost dying cuz she poisoned him and her uttering the words ' I want you to die'..is such a dark and twisted thing which I am down for!! The ml being angry that the mc is so kind to the donations and orphanage and other people but so mean to him..was also super interesting and a sight to behold. My fav thing is when he just looks at her...and observe..then a few scenes later has this downcast or pained expression on his face..He actually cares so much about her and is angry about that fact..Also also the secretary our Edward my baby..I don't want u to suffer..the way he knows her and the fact that mc shows her real personality only to him then puts on the villainess persona towards everyone else..just *chef's kiss*. His reasoning when being asked by the ml for him working under her was the money...he sounded so convinced and went on to talk about his salary and paid extra etc then when the mc comes into the room and she trips, he along with ml immediately is by her side holding her and him nagging her with that look on his face...then we cut to ml just seeing everything and thinking to himself 'Is that really the face of a person who is only in it for the money?'..I die..me dead...deceased..The og fl is so righteous and I love that she isn't a bitch but is super naive and flawed in her logic..the way she stalks the mc thinking she is being discreet while MC knows everything. Gah!! How can this be any better? Her crying to the mc after being rescued by her from the bullies who dropped their hanky and asked her to pick it up..so heartwarming! Edward stole the scene with him refusing to give the og fl a hanky to wipe her years despite the MC's order..ahhh..then og fl taking out her own hanky and saying 'I have my own' not holding any grudges cuz she is so innocent..holy moly!! We know my Ed wouldn't end up with MC so can they be a couple?? Pwease..I see some cool and funny dynamic already!! Small criticism tho..the chapters after 13+ or so had bad quality and the translation was terrible..also ch18 is missing, the part where ml is being vulnerable.. The thing I love the most tho...The fashion!!!..this is the first time I like the fashion..the MC actually changing her hairstyles and using different accessories from clips to headdress to those crown thingy..her dresses are not tacky too..it's such a nice colour, royal colours and rich colours which are my fave seems to her aesthetic which I am LIVING for!! Also her simpler or uglier clothing isn't bad at all by normal standards!! Holy shit..my girl crush!!
