My favourite mc n female character by a longshot...she doesn't have many rivals both in my heart as well as in the webtoon world..I just want to say 'you are the star in the universe miss adelaide'..moreover, Killian is unexpectedly a good ml..a surprise..I thought he would be the cardboard perfect ml u see when there is a good mc..mc is so logical and able to stop herself from being emotional in her decisions, something I cannot say for most mc's..her only rival off the top of my head is the mc from 'matriarch of the family'.... WOW Update (27/12/22) : I guess you have to read it in succession to get into the flow and can't just pick up where you left off. The translation issue is becoming more prominent and seems to get in the way of my enjoyment of the story, which is a shame because I genuinely like it. The ml is the crown prince as it turns out, he left his riches and status behind it seems and his younger brother is searching for him with the help of the daughter of a duke in the capital. She is an adopted child and also has a name that seems to be of Korean lineage so maybe a reincarnation..possibly? She seems clever to be able to make her family rise in just three years time since her appearance so kudos to her. Also I think she doesn't want the crown prince to reclaim his position and is subtly telling the younger bro to take the position. Maybe she isn't giving him the full info. Maybe aiming to be the Empress or Queen?

This story has been on my radar for so long...u have no idea ugh..anyway the prologue is a gifted commoner child saves the son of a duke from hostages/kidnapping..she is rewarded..she has talent in sword and is strong so she was sponsored then became a hero of war alongwith Simon (the ml) who is the archmage..a power couple!!!..they r best friends but crossed the limit due to heavy drinking (?) but is actually because of a scroll when teared makes your body heat up and ooh la la..but one condition - they have to be in love with one another..after being taunted by ml..she just teared it then her body starts to heat up, she keeps looking at his lips but ml is not affected cuz he a fucking wizard..yuh..but they fucked then one night stand..viola a baby..an op one..she always wanted a family n never felt like she belonged in the Duke's family cuz classism?? Then decides to keep it a secret n tries to retire cuz ml's mum a bitch (an elf) so she looks young..always in the centre of attention..but is convinced by the crown prince aka her friend alongwith Simon to only make it a kind of vacation n that she'll return..so she looks for confirmation to ml asking if he still hates children and he's like dead faced yeah so she leaves..he planned to propose but wizard duties so after a week..during that time she left..Simon becomes crazy and hunts her down but to no avail..he even says he will tie her up when he finds her so she cannot leave his side EVER again..ummm Sir??..Currently nine months pregnant in Ch 26..and that's it... Mc is so strong and logical but has emotions too as well as social, her humour is also on point!! She is by far the star of the show!! Also lovee that she has scars on her hands ya know somewhere that's clearly visible n it makes sense cuz she a swordsman so her hands are coarse from all that training..even during chibi scenes that detail is not missed and I applaud the writer??the artist?? Ml is the typical psycho, talented, obsessed with mc, she is his only source of happiness and joy (his own words), a yandere who is soft only for mc, only realised his feelings later but is obvious it seems from his narrative?? Anyway he said to his subjects? fellow wizard men?? That they all look like rocks except for mc so?? The art style is super interesting n it's different from the promo..but not too far off..bit I digress since promos need to be the best quality to urge people to read the novel y'know??

Hmm..read this..love my hard headed mc..the fact that she actually went through with her plan after she returned to the past..splendid..also in her last life when ml killed all those he thought hurt her but included those she loved like the maids and servants and she spewed those words to him..he was so hurt and killed himself..that traumatized mc as well..and their child was saved this time..I'm not a pro-lifer but at least she has her daughter by her side at least...and ml no longer became the emperor in this timeline cuz the mc wasn't there so he had no reason for it..love when I can see the butterfly effect cuz some stories leave that out n are like what's meant to be will happen no matter what..but NO like every action we take changes things..so I like this one a lot

The art isn't the best but I like it as it seems to be at the level the story is at.. moreover the characters are surprisingly complex and full of humanity(?)/emotions which was a contrast to what they appeared to be in the first few chapters..I thought we would follow some tropes, I mean we do but there's some twists on it as well which tickles my reader's heart. Oh and the fl is kind of a bit of an abnormal case for an mc in a female lead story..she is reincarnated in a story she read as a child, tells her younger twin bro, who is destined to die from being the villain's right-hand man, the importance of love as it was a big push on why he turned out the way he did.. unfortunately he chose to leave home to pursue his lover cuz of a reason told later..the ml is the og story's villain but we see things from his pov which I am down for..his childhood was shit and his now secretary is his only friend who stood by him through thick n thin..he feels guilt for lying to mc but feels conflicted as he feels she is someone he needs as mc is quite OP(she was an kendo practitioner of some sorts in her previous life) so that talent transfers to her life now. Also forgot to mention mc cross dress to fill in the spot of her bro as military enlistment is needed for boys at the age of 18 so she took his place..it's quite funny seeing ml's dilemma over his feelings towards mc and starts to question his sexuality..plus his friend's reaction? The MC is smart and strong in a unique way..she works at a call center of some sort so talking is her forte..she has a lot of patience..gurl how I envy you..now she is in a sort of medieval society so time travel of some sorts??..She is now the empress cuz the ml being an emperor needs her as he is quite tactless and deaf to his people's plight..so she a mediator of some sorts..I like it..can't read it for a long time as it doesn't sustain my internet the first few chapters were nice:)

Read the comments and passed on it due to the contents it described and I read full spoilers too so..I pretty much knew how it would go down..my sister read it and I peeked here and there on her phone so the art is decent..the ml is a Playboy so he fucks anyone with a pussy..he thinks mc doesn't know about his scandalous ways but when he found out that mc knows about it and infact doesn't care..he is upset..what a manchild..mc has gone through multiple lives, one where she is the belle of the kingdom and gets married to the crown prince who is a fuckboy as well so to noone's surprise he has herpes yet forces himself on mc while being aware of his disease so she had about 3 miscarriages and killed herself..talk about bad luck ooff..another life where she seduces the painter/artist and run away with him, has a child and later kills the child and herself(her hubby was killed by her bro too)...and NOW she decides to dress like a nun, black clothes with a low bun (no strands)..chooses the current ml and doesn't care about his reputation and if he sleeps around or not..so manipulation and cheating warning tags everyone Update : I'mma read it now (12/08/22)..still the same day, I finished upto ch14 on 2:53 am

The title 'villainess' is totally earned..there is no irony to that title..she is vengeful, selfish, unapologetic, manipulative and a bit of a seductress as well. So like the title says she reverses time by using the hourglass which appeared before her in her moment of death being used by her step sis..She on the execution hall regretted her actions of malice towards her step sis but turned out she has been dancing on top of her palm for the longest time so in this life she vows to destroy her and everything she cares for..her mom who died under mysterious cause in her lastlife seems to be the doing of Mielle(step-sis)as well, she was a commoner born to a prostitute mother so she is looked down upon by society..she is incredibly beautiful and gorgeous as well taking after her mother so many men vied for her affection..but as later revealed to us by her, she says they only liked her for her looks and did not want anything serious..She has golden hair shining brightly and radiantly in contrast to Mielle's platinum and straight hair, so while MC was in the face kind of beauty, Mielle was more of a subdued beauty it seems like...also ml is not as smart as other ml's in this kind of manhwa but I love that although some comments call him an idiot..I think he is quite smart..also there seems to be some kind of a connection between her and ml in her lastlife as well as now..Oscar the fiancee of Mielle was a target for MC so she tried to steal him by acting pitiful and fragile..I mean it worked and the way they treat her in their household is a testament to it...he falls in love with her but is powerless against his sister who is ml's fiancee and a powerful person who thinks Mielle is an useful tool to accomplish their needs..she also thinks mc has dirty blood..I feel for Oscar truly..mc knows the future so she is able to know the trends of the market and help out with her step-father's business which she later finds out that she was never credited for, she grows angry and doesn't want to provide any more input..also the fact that he keeps trying to match her up with what they presumed to be a merchant who frequents their house angers her..he does it so openly as well so her mom is also not pleased with it...MC is also quite emotional and imperfect which I love..but the fact that she uses the hourglass so recklessly irks me so much even tho she seems to understand it's consequences..that's it for my review

I am really sorry..I think I mixed up my review for this with 'I raised an obsessive servant' so there's that..look at my review in that if u want to know how I feel about this.. 'The story being set in historic times makes so much sense..what I mean is the characters interaction support that...the title lives up to its story... the synopsis is so enticing...I tried reading in Wattpad but the translation sucked so I eventually forgot about it...so glad they picked it up as it was just a promo back then...the mc is so refreshing from the other MCs so I like it..no complains but I can't give it five stars cuz I prefer to just read stories easier to digest but it feels like I have to make an effort to read this..I like it when I start ofcourse but I'm not like...Has this been updated yet? and check it everyday...I'm just like "This has been updated? Guess I'll read it"..does that make sense?' Here ya go....

My sister loves this..she tells me not to judge a book by it's cover..the mc is incredibly op it seems..she has a secret and can utilise lots of different weapons as well..so the one chapter I read and later dropped was a bit of a misdirect it seems..my fault for not having much patience..they seem to have a son too
