To deny the route
This is actually really cute but I'm conflicted. On one hand it's good for what it is and that it doesn't try to be different but on the other hand it feels very formulaic and uninspired. The MC annoys me most of the time, he acts and behaves like a literal child. He can't think rationally and his situation on paper is rough, I get it, but the way he reacts and the conclusions he comes to feel strange. I don't know how else to explain it.. I can't connect to the story at all. The ML is probably Illya which I'm surprised about, thought for sure it would be the crown prince but hey.. Another thing I like that although illya is the typical yandere obsessed ML, he actually listens to the MC. That's all for now.
Kill My Love
I agree with the comments, this is very bland. The plot is...there, there are characters but what do they do? They exist. I do like the character designs but they feel stiff and also they don't feel engaging. The surroundings, the motivations behind their actions, the revenge etc feel very doll-like.. Mannequin esque. I do like the assassin twins, particularly the one obsessed with Jing. Mhhhmm... If I were Jing I know for sure that I would regret saving this bitch cuz what the fuck?! I mean at least he's self aware about it, returning kindness for malice.. Something something.. He said something along those lines. I actually like that I can feel their age gap, how he acts like a child around him although he's the boss of the most influential and feared underground organization.
The Hunter Wants to Live Quietly
Saurr little.. So can't judge rn but it looks promising. Like the MC, also like the ML. It's very tropey and a bit common but hey I came here expecting that so can't complain. The MC, the former top hunter, the first ever S Class in South Korea... And now the ML is currently the top and the third S Class in the country. 8 years in the future. That's it. Peace.
The S-Class Guide as Sweet as Honey
This is bad. Like really bad. The art and plot is deteriorating. The MC is a pussy and the ML a manipulative asshole. I mean they say there's a long chasing arc but I don't care tbh. The plot isn't plotting and the art ain't pretty enough to compensate for it. The past.. I'm not the least bit curious. The translation is horrid.
Regas
Amazing! I love this.. I like their bond. The ML isn't completely hopeless after all. The king's council heart thing.. They piss me off. Like how can someone stoop that low in life. The gentle giant into a delicate pretty young Lord is a shock for sure. I was a bit surprised because the cover didn't match with the appearance but I guess it makes sense now. I like the regas and dragon concept.. It's so neat. The ML as a child was the epitome of cuteness honestly.. He's so cute and adorable. So sweet as well. The fact that he kills everyone who even remotely acts or looks like Abel is a mood. Like could they be more obvious? They are so inconspicuous UPDATE (30/04/25): I am losing interest. I even read the novel because I adored the story so much but it went in a direction I hated. I like that Karas is super smart and is ten steps ahead of everyone and the Duke's secret is much darker that we thought (them eating the corpse). But the Duke is just a sadistic motherfucker who whips people until they bleed and bruise so that was a huge NO for me. But the biggest one was the relationship between Karas and Abel. Abel continued to be as dumb and naive as he always is, deceiving himself that Karas isn't as horrible as he is and blaming himself for it. Karas too is another thing...he cares for Abel and only him. But he doesn't fucking listen to him. He only does what he want and what interest him. I don't even think it's love at this point...there's a difference between him and illay from 'PASSION'. illay though he sucks and forces himself on the uke, we can tell he cares and somehow relents in a way but this man is just...ugh. Ch64
Fanservice Paradox
Read the first 10 chapters and ch24..it's a typical manhua I feel like. The praises are something else tho. They say the main couple are freaky in bed...I kinda wanna figure that out. The Dark side of the industry yada yada doesn't pique my interest..frankly speaking.
Kimi ni wa Todokanai
10 out of 10. This is incredible! minus the incest. Bruh that's fucking weird stop it. I like how proactive both of them are. Also it all feels so natural. When we got that side story of how Yamato subtly got rid of his competitors, that made me cackle. Also the rizz on Yamato!? Also I'm so glad that Fuji didn't turn out to be homophobic..I was so worried that we'd go down that route. He was just feeling left out...and I like how Kakeru reassured him and reaffirmed that everything is still the same. I like the other two friend is as well...they are so supportive...The blunt guy, I had a bit of a problem with at first..but I learned to like it. The way they constantly got interrupted at the most critical moments annoyed me at first tho.
The Pizza Delivery Man and The Gold Palace
Brrrr wanna read this UPDATE (14/02/25): So I read this and it's decent. The seme being the pretty boy caught me off guard but I like that their dynamic remained the same coz quite honestly bed positions don't translate into real life. So love that. I read upto Ch10 and then from Ch59 to 69 so it's all over the place. But I am already annoyed at the side characters, at Woo-wan for keeping this from Seo han and being a pushover. Why are they surrounded by such trash people? And is Woo stupid, you almost fucking died and you're bleeding from your head, you were even unconscious yet you chased after your so called father to continue your talk?! What the fuck.
When the Killer Falls in Love
I am five chapters in currently..I love it so far This is spectacular! I like them both so much..The blondie is so annoying though..The tension of the scenes got so disrupted because of him being such a kid and insisting on being a brat and acting all emotional. The manager also annoyed me for a little while but I understood where he was coming from. One thing I will say is the inconsistency in the formality...Korean is a very polite language and is strict on age..so it strikes me as odd that they're calling each other by name..ML did call Manager hyung but he didn't call MC hyung..and the manager despite his timid personality supposedly calls the MC by name? It shouldn't bother me but it does! Anyway back to the plot..The two lovebirds were so funny..I didn't immediately assume that they used to date but I did feel some chemistry/history. I also like the duo of hotheaded×cool so.. I don't approve of the boss and blondie btw. Not only does it feel wrong..I hate the mf blondie..Hate is a strong word..I just don't like him honestly.
