The Real Daughter is Back
What the actual fuck did I just read? My goodness..what is this monstrosity??!! I felt like some manhwas just put in some cliches every now and then, tbh I already thought I saw the worst this genre had to offer..but alas. The whole villainess trope is an overdone theme but I didn't mind it cuz eventho it is basically the same characteristic and plot, the authors would put their own twist to it. But this, nuh uh..the author just mimics people's works..the lines they say, the gesture and the situation all the way to their personality. 'Actually I was the real one' is another manhwa I've read..and although it wasn't my fav read, it still executed its role well. This in the other hand, the MC is so goddamn annoying and the author trying to make her a villainess by giving her traits that surrounds the whole villain characters..yet it falls flat. The ML..sigh..knows everything tho I wouldn't put it on his intelligence or whatever, the MC was so obvious..the whole abusive family situation isn't properly executed and it's hard to feel sorry for anyone. Oh like the nanny's death was in vain..the MC still craves for the mom's attention. What was that line that she said? "Rohan..the young Helga that you once knew is no more. She died in that winter night with her nanny".. no bitch..you the one acting like a damn child!! Her accomplishments are just for trophy or a necessity by the plot cuz how can she act like that and u expect me to believe she is actually smart and a genius that only appears once in a lifetime..don't know yet if the sister is a white lotus or not yet tho
The Beast Tamed by the Villainess
I love me some taming.. Update : (13/8/22) at 1:46 am..so I read the comments and saw the spoilers..I have decided to just skip it..it seems to be a poorly written manhwa..they said the MC becomes dumber after the time skip..and that the change was quite jarring..also in addition to that, the ML grew obsessed with her and does the same thing back to her although on a much bigger scale using dark magic to make her lose her voice, sight and hearing to make her mentally dependent on him..geez that freaks me out..they say the MC turns into a bunny and the reason provided by the writer regarding this change was that she took on the indifferent and cold characteristics of the og villainess to get accustomed to the world she just arrived in but like she has been training as a priest for three years, is it? And suddenly after her encounter with ML, she turns into the helpless bunny leaving the ML confused..also apparently the ML is in love or obsessed with her and not the og villainess as he noticed the change in her demeanor and attitude after she took over the body..and there is a tie to her being transmigrated but they say it feels like a totally new novel suddenly...so I'mma pass
The Baby Land Lord Is Retiring
4 chapters in..and just no. Like it's so stupid, the art is like something staight out of Cartoon Network. The plot is non-existent, the characters are not interesting at all. The MC unfortunately falls into the typical trope of 'turns into a child while having the mind of an adult' after being reincarnated three times, this time being her third time. I don't understand how her mind functions, the way she thinks is like a child, Why daddy glaring at me? Why is everyone so mean to me? Like common sense or the thinking skills of an adult is lost on her. The sweet thing, didn't she taste it on her first life? Like our world have bakery and I'm pretty sure it would taste better than back then..due to the countless developments and all..the improvements made in that field must be astronomical. Oh! The premise is lame and the story falls flat. The characters are dumb and feels like a second hand and a bad prototype of trope-y characters in this genre
Redemption of the Blue Rose Princess
I saw this on a recommendation list
I'll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History ― The More of a Villainess I Become, the More the Prince will Dote on Me
I liked it when I read it. I remember being satisfied by the simple plot. The MC is very cute. It's very shoujo, the rules that this world is bound by is also very shoujo-esque. Her logic is so childlike but I don't hate it. Maybe it's cuz of the way the world is set up, usually I hate MCs who are blindly optimistic and simple-minded but that's cuz the world they are in are much more grim and other characters are facing the consequences for their stupid decisions.
How to Divorce the Male Lead
I have seen this promo so many times and have read two chapters in Wattpad. Tho it was a long time ago, seeing this brings back fond memories. I want this to get serialised so badly but please keep the artstyle as it is, it's so earthy and so nice and totally my style. Not that sparkly and flowers blooming type of shit
I’m the Demon Queen, but for Some Reason the Hero is Doting on Me
Haven't read a manga like this in a while..things are needlessly complicated these days with all the trends in psychological or dramatic manhwas with all their schemes, it feels nice to go back to this. Cute girl + simp. That's it. I'm 5 chapters in and there are 11 chapters rn
