My Family is Obsessed with Me
A one star on a bad day fr..like it's so on the nose type of webtoon so I didn't enjoy it. I felt that everything was so predictable and the child MC was not cute to me at all..I find most child character in manhwas to be spoiled and annoying honestly, I just wanna whack them in the head or beat them up with my chappal. The fact that she is their bio daughter that they lost is so bloody obvious to me..the author is basically spoon-feeding us with this bit of info and anyone who don't catch it is a fool and anyone thinking they are smart for figuring it out is so damn slow and not right in the head obviously. She lived up to an adult in her lastlife so that isn't an excuse for her childlike behaviour, her getting her hand dirty with chocolate and all, girl u gonna get diabetes for sure. Another thing I hate about this trope is a child in an unfortunate situation is adopted by rich ass motherfuckers who spoil them rotten and they start acting like those rich ass spoiled kids, like why? U know better than to sulk or cry when u don't have your fav desserts or sweets.. that's already privileged as heck. Them becoming crybabies also makes me wanna bully them or some shit...aghh
I Became the Younger Sister of a Regretful Obsessive Male Lead
It was originally a bl but now is a heterosexual manhwa..I don't know how to feel about this cuz it just seem a bit insensitive to me honestly, I guess there is a bit of logic sprinkled in the fact that the og novel revolves around the fact that the uke was the only person to show the seme affection of some sorts so he grew attached to him regardless of the gender or sexuality, I kinda like that cuz I am of the belief that everyone is fluid in their feelings, they are just constrained by norms of the society. How I feel about this manhwa? It has a nice and easygoing feel to it. It obviously tackles child abuse and homosexuality as well as animal abuse to some extent? But overall it doesn't feel serious. It doesn't try to delve deeper into the problems that it has, rather it states it as if it's a piece of information to the reader i.e us. The fact that the ml's dad was in a relationship with fl's father yet was forced to be apart due to the previous duke i.e the ml's grandpa, adding to it the fact that ml resembles the father of the duke (currently) who abused him for loving a man and split them up, is a reason for the ml's abuse. And the og Rachel who grew up pampered by the same duke who abused the ml cuz she resembles Liam (his lover) all the way from her green hair and bright personality, is a reasonable reason to why she partook in the abuse of ml and she was the first one of the side characters to die by ml's hands. Another problem is the MC's overall atitude, someone once said that the overall tone of the story depends on the MC and their personality and outlook on life. This is an interesting case that supports that claim cuz MC is fully aware of the circumstance that ml is in cuz she read it and he is apparently her bias but she fails to notice his state of mind and has a hopelessly positive and simple mindset on how to solve the problems faced by the ml. She is akin to a privileged nepotism child who says she only got the position she is in cuz of their hard work alone and not cuz of their parents position or connection, it seems as flimsy as that. The plot is stupid all in all. No logic just some cliches in romance and isekai plot meshed together that doesn't flow well at all. The author is either a novice or someone trying to take advantage of the current trend of the over saturated genre of isekai.
It's My Destiny To Be The Hero's Saviour
How do I start? The satisfaction level I had while reading this was 2/10 and that is me being generous. It feels like the writer got inspired by other manhwas of this genre and decided to implement the most common tropes found in this genre..like the child abuse, neglect from family, mother dying, and her remembering her past life memory. It is also kind of stupid how the lines uttered by the characters in this manhwa reminds me some other mahwa and the mentioning of contracts and what not. "You can be a child", that should be heartwarming but it just felt some out of place. It feels like the writer ran out of time to make the situations the characters are in to make it make sense or the lines they say are just for decoration. I don't feel like the characters motivations are clearly justified and it feels like the whole 'my family loves me' trope all over again.
I’m Worried that My Brother is Too Gentle
It is indeed a shoujo manhwa..so typical and filled with cliches, all the way to having an overprotective and loving brother and family to having the crown prince be the ml. Those two things are not the only things that bothered me, I could mind it as it is already a staple in this genre and medium so whatever I guess. The problem is the MC, missy you are a 20+ working adult who already had bf in your previous love coupled with the info about the world u are in currently, so why r acting like a fucking child? Everything about her irks me, from her clothes to her hairstyle to her childish thoughts and preconceived notions all so for the plot to make her end up with the ML. She could be hailed as a genius with her knowledge from her past life as well as being an adult in a modern world working in a company. But she acts stupid, seriously a scrapbook? U fucking kidding me? Her acting like a child, skipping everywhere, everytime she pouts I lose a minute of my life. Her being dependent on her brother also doesn't sit right with me cuz she is way older than him yet is being cared for by a young teenager. She doesn't try to improve her brother's situation despite lamenting on it, I mean she does try to solve it but the way she goes about it is at the level of a child and not a full grown adult. Why couldn't the author just make it a story about a privileged noble lady whose story we can see from her childhood, then it would make more sense. She isn't even utilising her knowledge and memories and it seems to be there only for the current trend of isekai so..why? Btw, I only read till Ch5 but I will drop it. I can't bring my level down to read shit like this.
Lovely Again Today
What is with this author and the insanely cute ml's in her story, the same thing with 'See you in my 19th life' tho I prefer that story a bit more than this. The fact that I completed this..whew!! The way they explored bullying was a fresh take at least imo..The fact that the bullies do not often end up in high place in the society or that they are only the kings or queens in high school or so. It is very common in South Korea so of course it is being explored in many K-dramas and webtoons..The fact that she turns into a puppy or so, that doesn't actually interest tho it makes for some funny and unlikely situations as well as some funny gags here and there. It is done for an overall light hearted tone in the story despite some grim and dark subjects it explores. The author likes dealing with supernatural things I see. Past lives are also being explored here too. I also love that we can see the author's growth in writing, transitions and overall lines and scripts as well.
I Don't Want to Become Crown Princess!!
I won't call it smut as it's not steamy enough to be called that but I won't rate it PG13 as well so there's that..the whole plot or lack thereof is so amusing to me..it's like the plot of a porn..it's the most unnecessary thing..the whole libido thing was comical..the princess is a whole stupidass person..the crown prince being the typical ml who doesn't know the word 'consent'.. what more is there? Oh..the second male lead, yeah he is pitiful, a childhood friend it seems falling into that cliche again. The prince tried to force her in marriage by imprinting on her which can only be possible by casting a spell while breaking the hymen, so OUCH!! He cummed inside her..he filled her with his seeds..ugh trying to make her preggy isn't a good look on you..the whole love at first sight bullshit..tsk tsk.. anyways the MC used contraception by visiting a witch for it..which is a thing to be shocked by apparently cuz that witch is really hard to come across and the prince has been searching for the old hag as well concerning his libido.. But I come back to this every once in a while..haha I don't even know why!! A guilty read?? That's possible!!
Sickly? Husband's Contractual Wife
Maybe someday? Not likely but u never know? The synopsis sounds like a Chinese manhua/novel..so typical and cliche..like how u gonna take care of him and be surprised when he gets attached to u..the plot tho..heiha!!
Dragon Raising Manual
Hmm..it's quite mild I feel, it doesn't pop off and catch your attention. It just is. The thing I can't quite grasp is why she decided to just skip the background info and seemingly forgot all about it, is it just for plot convenience? It probably is, isn't it? The ml is a tan hottie..I gave it a chance cuz of him, so how is he a dragon? He has pointy ears which makes me think he is well...an elf but a dragon? Is he a half-breed or is it a disguise? I also have an inkling that his sister is not blind. The MC overall tho I have only read upto ch5 has been nothing but a disappointment. Seriously the art doesn't make it any better, it looks like she has a lazy eye. The incest part is pretty realistic and I like it when historical stories of any kind implement that cuz it's a fact. Also it's a guilty tag of mine tho I don't have that type of attachment with my own siblings. I love seeing it in stories. It is scandalous and I love every moment of it.. if they are pretty
I Tried to Persuade My Brother and He Entrusted the Male Lead to Me

I Was Born As The Demon Lord's Daughter
