The Princess After The Revolution

Ongoing | 으앵 | 2019 released

Reverse isekai...a rare subgenre of the overdone isekai trope...I will give it a chance...read it later not right now tho as my net is worryingly slow..can't load properly...anyways based on the synopsis the overall theme is her living the normal life she wanted that her previous life as a princess restrained...the people from her past life keeps appearing next to her...I heard that it is actually pretty common to meet people from your past life...has potential but it will follow some established cliches...I will be surprised if it doesn't since it is a webtoon

The Villainess

Ongoing | | 2000 released

Okay..why did noone tell me that reverse isekai could be so much fun!!?? I was laughing the whole way through..the comedy is superb..top tier. The mood is so contagious and made me, the reader, feel good. A love triangle that is executed comically and not make things so serious..that's my jam. One of my pet peeves in any genre and especially romance is love triangle..like there is no need for it? Ofcourse it could become more serious as it goes on but rn this is my exception to that pet peeve of mine. Also the fact that the younger guy is genuinely interested in Liza and it seems Ian has had feelings for the author makes it all the more engaging. Also love that Liza is realising her feelings for the og ml (I guess?) was not love but something else. With her only having him in her life..no other friends, companions, lovers etc. He also felt burdened by it I feel and finally cracked under so much pressure. Her becoming a villainess was a bit rushed by the author I feel ( I mean the story's author; not the real author). Also love how Liza sees her modern friends as kids and refer to them as such. Her being an adult must make all their problems seem so minor since they are only high school kids afterall. The comedy is top-notch. The MC being a master of disguise and with her record of blending and assimilating into her surroundings now struggling in a modern school setting is funny. Her declaring a strike against going to school because she thought that the author abandoned her then being slapped senseless by her mom..relatable. I wish she would realise how her "mom" is struggling to meet day's end and take things seriously
