Deep Throat
*chuckles* the title lured me in. There is only one chapter so far but the plot seems very intense. I think they dropped it tbh. So *coughs* deepthroat. The seme I reckon misunderstood the reason he was abandoned by the uke, they knew eachother 12 years ago when they were in middle school. Based on the uke's flashback, the seme used to be more docile and he was the one giving him the deepthroat now he is the one since the seme is in a higher position than him. When I heard the name 'Garam' I immediately thought of Kim Garam from Lesserafim. Such a sad case. He used to be the maknae of the popular group 'Fights' then their boss ran away with their money and he hasn't been able to contact any of them since he did his compulsory military service. Then he saw that there will be a show for 'Popstar' just like AGT in America so he auditioned for it. Then he saw the seme, who at first he thought didn't recognise him then he(seme) pulled him in and asked to meet him in 10 minutes at the smoking area. Then we see that the seme is still not over whatever the uke did to him and offers him maybe the position for sexual favours (deepthroating perhaps?)
Palace of Bardo
Oh! This is it! I've been searching for this endlessly. This is the definition of obsession! Even in death, the MC wasn't free from the King's clutches. He committed suicide in order to get away from him. His family (in this life) after seeing his resemblance to his past self (technically his ancestor but that was him too so it's complicated) discarded him since it was a sign of disgrace. The thing that gets me about the obsession is that it's completely irrational. There isn't an incident or situation, their disposition or interaction that triggers it, just him existing and the king is entranced by him. It also shows the repercussions of said obsession not only for him but the kingdom, the people, their families and it sets off a number of events to spiral and makes it one intriguing plot. The uke is still traumatized and we can see it so clearly, I could find myself getting affected by it and how all of these things are so out of his control, the helplessness of the situation he is in and how he got affected by the aphrodisiac. I had to turn my eyes away and drop it in that scene because it was too much for me. A bright side is that the king is now realizing his mistake and it isn't sudden either. It feels very organic and natural. He wants his love in this lifetime, he doesn't just want to own him. He wants his heart now as well.
Love Plan
This is top tier. One of the best manhwas I have read and that's on periodt. It has the perfect ending. It wasn't abrupt and overstayed its welcome, it feels complete. The side stories are a joy to read. It puts a smile on my face. This has to be the same artist/writer who worked on 'Dawn of the Dragon' because the art style, the characters, the dynamic.. Uncanny. I love this trope of crybaby seme and mature uke. Give me more!! The story is very simple but executed so perfectly. Around chapter six, the story alludes to the seme being this typical controlling psychopath mastermind but instead he's a sweetheart, a babygirl, a cinnamon roll(ू•ᴗ•ू❁). Jaewoo is so kind and patient towards everything but the seme especially. He is so mature and is an adult in handling misunderstandings. He reassures the seme and actually communicates to him about stuff instead of assuming shit and clears things out when the seme misunderstands things. When he ran outside barefoot bawling his eyes out when he thought that Jaewoo cheated on him (he would never!) He tells him that it wasn't what it seemed "Let's go inside and talk". Then when he hyperventilates, he handled that very well as well. The reason for the seme's interest in Jaewoo recontextualized everything. He didn't laugh or cry as a kid, he didn't feel emotions, he was empty so when he met his complete opposite who freely expressed his emotions, he was curious. He had seen people cry before but when he saw Jaewoo cry, he felt something so he wanted to see him cry again. Then in high school, when he met him again he came on very strong so he slowed down and latched himself to him so he sticks out in his mind. He asked around and still couldn't find him but finally in the old library, they could be alone so he initiated a conversation and the uke didn't know him at all so that was the reason he followed him everywhere. They were also very close as students, we didn't see that in the uke's flashback. This is why I say that both POV's are invaluable since we get both sides. The thing they priorities, the things they remember.. In how much detail etc. I also love that Jaewoo went back to college. Love education, hopefully I'll start college next year
