Jishou Akuyaku Reijou na Konyakusha no Kansatsu Kiroku

Ongoing | Shiki,Hasumi Natsume | 2000 released

An otome game that's hardly any different from the rest..yet so different. Maybe that has to do with the fact that the story is told from the genius ML's POV so the tone is pretty much cut throat and refreshing. It takes away some elements that honestly tires me out like the banter among noble ladies, petty schemes and boy drama. There are hints of it but we are following the narration of the ML so it is rare. How he dissects things and the counter measures he comes up with are fun to read almost as if it's common sense. His love for MC was more tame than I thought but I like it. The last chapters with their two children (a boy & a girl) one a siscon who is similar to his dad in demeanor and the girl a carbon copy of her mother except she has heterochromia. The little bro of fl was cute.

Kimi no yoru ni fureru

Complete | mori moyori | 2019 released

I always wanted to read this from the moment I saw it on my FYP. I just knew instantly that I would like it, it's one of the few mangas that I feel like no one can hate. The story itself is simple yet in its simplicity there is perfection. I love the art, the characters, their story arcs, the way they interact.. So everything basically. The thing the ML said to the MC about his eyes "Your eyes that were able to see through me/everything"... that is the perfect description for the MC. His eyes were the thing that attracted me to this manga in the first place. I had some misconceptions too, mainly to do with the ML.. I expected him to be more jaded, tough, depressed, heartless etc. But this is so much better, I couldn't have hoped for anything else. I like how pure, delicate, sweet, gentle the MC is..

Futarijime Romantic

Ongoing | Kanisawa Chihiro | 2022 released

Super duper adorable. Can understand why lawm recommended this to me...It is short, conscise and doesn't overstay it's welcome. It did what it needed to do and left. That's a slay honestly. I like their pairing...she's wayy too similar with her first kiss. I am all for a romantic couple but the girl is too much, I like the balance between the two. I like how it's obvious in this manga at least the moment the ML saw her in a different light...when she protected the sand castle and got wet. That was also theor first kiss. I also like that the whole supposed non existent love triangle was resolved before it even happened. Ayano and Haruto are cute as well but I get why she broke up with him. I would too. I am all for a nice guy but yeah no. I wish we could see Takumi's two elder sisters and the MC little brother. Oh well.
