I already read the earlier chapters of this and dropped it because it wasn't my cup of tea. Saying that, I am willing to give it another try because Lucy recommended it to me and informed me it gets better. Personally, when the top forced himself on the bottom and blood dripped from the bottom's ass, that's where I drew the line. It made me question things and put me in a sour mood. I know that the story will probably delve deeper into the psyche of the top considering from what Lucy said, that the top is beginning to trust and open up to the bottom. That tells me everything, what the author prioritise in their storytelling and so on and so forth. I was fully expecting the top to be head over heels in love with the bottom by now, bending to the bottom's every wish and whims but that does not seem to be the case. Maybe we get that sprinkled here and there but I have an inkling that that's not the forefront of this manhwa.

Wait a minute..I already read this. Wow I wasn't expecting that. The gist of this story is powerful and shady figure comes across a young genius of a hacker trying to dig into their shady business. Of course the latter gets caught and the mission is put to a halt. The sex scenes I feel aren't the best that this medium has offered me but it's not the worst either. The dynamic is the same typical powerful and overbearing seme×pushover and timid uke so yeah..

This cover is very familiar to me because it's basically everywhere and I have always put off reading it since it wasn't my taste. But I picked it up and read upto CH10 and it went exactly how I expected it to. Though the alpha being 27 years old at the start threw me off with the omega being 21..so a four year gap. Sweet Jesus. Omegas are discriminated against, they are basically treated like women. They rape them and then tell them it's their fault for dressing that way, in this case it's the scent that they give off. What I hate about this manga is that even when the Alpha console the omega, it's like 'You did well for being an omega', 'You are not built like me so you did well till now' and 'I will protect you'. Like it's their job to give them happiness or some shit. Also the janitor has to be the MVP. This is also some conservative shit that they are trying to spread, like ofcourse it's brave of the MC to give birth to the daughter of the man who raped him but the justification 'I can't hurt/blame an innocent child for this' is so ugh...like I hate people that say abortion is wrong. The thing is women are the one that will be ostracised, a teenager gets raped and decides to get an abortion for her future but she ends up being blamed. So if she gave birth, she won't be able to attend school cuz duh..and then she has to look after the child and then no-one will like her as a partner, people will point their fingers at her for being a slut while the rapist gets off scot free. I hate that so much. Anyway...the omega is very submissive, crying in every scene and the alpha comforts him every time. Every words said to him gets to him, he blames himself for everything, does not want to rely on anyone yet ends up relying on them. Also he can't hide his expression so it is obvious when he lies so why hide it in the first place? The alpha being angry pissed me off not gonna lie. His mom is a creep, the rapist a spoiled brat and the MC a spineless idiot. I hate the saviour trope in general so there's that. Also the whole alpha × omega thing is not for me, I hate the whole fate thing anyway like mates and all, with the added combo of pheromones so you can't control whom you like~ you are horny when you smell a scent~ you have a heat cycle but forget to conveniently take pills~. Ugh like there is no free will, also I hate it when they get hard over a scent. Leave it be. Like instant love is so overrated..for the whole fate/destiny thing anyway...I know love at first sight is a thing so. It's like you love them because it's predestined you don't love them of your own volition. The Lil girl was cute tho

Defying fate? I guess in its corny ways, it did. The seme is essentially every girls dream(maybe guys too). I wasn't fully convinced by him falling for the uke so quickly (tbh I'm still not convinced) but the explanation is okayy-ish after he shares his backstory with the uke. The uke's pair is trash, he sold his pair as compensation for his debts and he expects him to be fine with it since in his head 'his pair should do that for him, it's only natural'. I wish we could see the ML's pair as well and how they navigate that problem, since it doesn't feel complete for the message of this manhwa 'you choose your fate' when we never got to see his fated pair. We see Takumi overcome it and worry about his now husband's pair, we got him telling him it won't matter but like 'actions speak louder than words'. Also I wish the uke could be more of a power bottom, he never successfully rides him before writhing in pleasure. Even when he said that he was going to be the top, he still couldn't do it and the top had to handle it. I'm sure he prefers that but a girl can wish. Riku is very cute, if I weren't surrounded by children and babies I would've fallen into the trap that children are a joy to be around. I never had baby fever even when my peers had it, I mean I'm only 19 as of 1/3/23 but still. The things that Riku says are so wholesome and cute and nothing like the mean shit children his age spew.

This is actually so good. I'm surprised.. I didn't think I would take a liking to this. I like how social the uke is and I like how despite everything, the seme is wrapped around his finger. I like how he prioritise communication over all things so we don't get that annoying misunderstanding trope. What else? I like how intertwined the two lives are cuz let's be honest, this is his past life or some parallel timeline shit. I hope more stuff come out to make this story interesting. Also the consistency of the characters are a nice touch as well. Another thing I like is the ML acts his age, his immaturity and simple way of thinking aligns with his 'true self' and doesn't feel out of place.

This is a hot mess. It seems everyone has come to a consensus that this ended on CH6 so I will naturally join in on that camp. It was cliche but it was fun. Everything went downhill after that, the MC is a lot more persistent and resilient than I gave him credit for. I kinda wish he wasn't that naive tho. I thought that the alphas would remain green flags but alas.. If this was the real world, this would fall into the category of love bombing. The fact that this is the creation of his fujoshi sister makes me side eye everything. I don't feel betrayed by this, let's make things clear.. But it's a bit of a shame that the author went this route when the road we've taken until now was already solid.

This is so stinking cute!! I like both of them... I like that it focused on them instead of the stalker thing... Also misunderstandings occur but it gets resolved and doesn't get dragged out so that's a win! I also like the female co-worker being an avid shipper. The stalker I thought would be a misdirect but it turned out to be the most suspicious person. I like the way the ML's pheroomones is described.. I want that scent for myself ngl. Also the marking, imprinting and knotting aspect wasn't disgusting and dubious as other BLs so that's good.

It's okay ig..The art style isn't my cup of tea neither the plot. Everything is fast paced and things just happen...there's really no build up for it. The pink haired twink omega...so what else is new? The characters are also really ugly...sorry not sorry...ig the ML's past is kinda interesting with the tutor and his brother. I AGREE that he never liked the tutor,he just came to care for her and was mad that his brother was using her to one up him. The family is trash. Ch14.
