I had high hopes for this one but it end up disappointing me especially after a second read. I was expecting more depth, more exploring of the concept of rejecting the secondary gender or at least some more characterization

Interesting yet disappointing The ref between the two would make more sense if it was because of Tensei -the Alpha- pride – him not wanting to admit that he fall in love with an omega – and Rei misunderstanding based on what he knows his friend hating omegavers and everything related to it

I started reading the original series for Spencer and was disappointed because he came way too later in the story. And I still hate Keith Pittman, worse Omega verse love interests ever! I know there are much worse out there but according to the tone of the story no one compares

I started it for the cuteness of the lil'bro and the obsession of the alpha yet took a break of it cuz of translation. Why is it that every time I engage with in this story it's a freaking end of season. _______ 12/10/2025 re reading update yey Ch.2 why is there rape ? S01 end with 29 chapter which is short but the pacing worked even though the time span is unclear. Ch.54 to 57 another rape !? And this time mf is in love. Why do we like him again. S02 ended at ch62 the brothers separation was heart breaking. Kayaa so worth re reading, such a cute story loved it

There's a lot of this short story's today! At least this one contains back story and explanation to what is happening... Yeah so I wasn't exciting having more chapters

MC aka karlyle Foster is timid, reserved and not affectionate. He spends his whole life distancing himself from others. Love interest aka Ash Jones is a bit suspicious ~ since I tend to distrust ambiguous characters. He seem to be hiding something ; a past related to MC , a revenge or another plan of some sort ? Having a weak spot for emotionally vulnerable MCs always make me doubt their love interest and I blame "" for that! So now that I'm 30 chapter in the story I sincerely hope the LI is genuine about his feelings for MC Maybe it's a me issue but I hate when a character get attached deeply with another to end up getting hurt in return. A misunderstanding trop!
