It was good til it wasn't... a light hearted story with funny moments that was cut with some unconsistent scenes to finally be ruined by stupidity and stubbornness, yet end up being cute at the end. The romance is okay... maybe... not sure anymore, since misunderstanding seems to = romantic development, which I liked because of the comedic aspect and the goofiness. At least till the braking up point. The overall makes sense and is logical but was a bit too over the top, by prioritizing harmful rumors over physical wellbeing as the relationship cataclysm. Like Seriously! We're just going to ignore that the tutor was wipped! And his back is dripping with blood In every penal, it's like pain isn't affection him at all unless it's need at certain moments. Now characters wise, The Duke is the one with the best character Arc in this story, he went from cold stone to misbehaving golden retriever puppy. Best dynamic goes to the Ex and friend of the tutor.

Age gap is not a joke here! One just joined the working force while the other is going to retire.

Betrayal story are the best, and usually I like them but why do my morals kick's in for this one. If the butler betrayed his master because being the underworld leader is his main job and not a servent this whole plot would be just fine, benefits before loyalty I vibes with that. The problem is the backstory that's insinuate Michael was after Dominic neck since the moment he saw him with no reason, as if he wants his client the marquis son to ruin and target Dominic specifically, and what makes it worse it Michael realization at the end that he wants to ruin Dominic sexual by his own hands as if the 15 years they spent together couldn't open his eyes to this.

Bof... All relationships are “Love at First Sight” trope. The maine story is an okay romance over all, it resolved every issues it set-up and the ending was unexpected, seriously making their daughter an anomaly for both kind and living the story at it is kind of cool In the side stories, All the secondary characters got their happy ending even the side secondary supposed to me male love interest.

This is soo~ go~od despite the rushed pacing adaptation & what I felt as sterile romance at first but is not, yet this webtoon as a whole read as dog blood historical romance, and little me can't get enough form of this types of story / plot. The typical "bully your crush" character, because he didn't realize that his interest in her is developing. So the characters... First Duc Damien Ernest Von Thisse is soooo my favorite type of male lead / love interest a cunning, conniving, calculating, scheming manipulator, I love that he have no tragic past or want of revenge he's just arrogant and greedy for greatness... he wants it all and he'll do whatever it takes to get it all... Lucky him the perfect pawn aka FL happen to be at the right time & palace. Chloé Verdier in comparison is so doll, so blend, elle ne se démarque pas d'une autre FL de se type. She'll do anything for the people who matters to her and that's the weakness ML capitalized on to work his plane. FL is not a bad character in any way it's just the this is one of those cases when everything it to logical to a fault, everything with her make too much sense.

Suspending my beliefs is a must to enjoy this story but I simply can't manged to do just that, because as far a history and human society evolve and developed this setting is messed up ! Everything with in this story is pissing me off !! Where's the logic and commune sense off this characters!? What was the point of making FL a reincarnation from modern time !? And as much as I'd like to say it makes some sort of sense at times the way the world build is set in isn't mathing. _______ Ch 41 : Chloé age revelation to Alexandro, she's a decade older then what he originally thought lol which is a +1 for ML who wasn't attracted to her. This chapter mark the end of S1 and hopefully the end of my frustrations too Ch 61: finally ML kiss FL after all those fantasy and Ch71 concluded S2 with another kiss and a love confession. Ch.110 : marked the End of S3 with the last 10 chapters being rushed and not well informative, after eloping they're now back to prepare to be royale. Ch.115 : Chloé sweetheart did money get over your head after you became Beatrice again!? This was the best misunderstanding even "why are maids so ignorent?" _______ I need to get this out of my chest : what's with Korean web novel authors and the glamorization of European colonization combien with the high maintenance aristocracy aesthetic that isn't even accurate.

This must be a fucking joke!?!? 70 chapter = one session !!!! No wonder the only person FL killed is the raciste army commander.... On another note, romance developpement between FL and ML was just so freaking cute... To bad FL isn't ready to fall in love yet . . . Oh my gosh! The artist changed and I'm not used to this style yet ... Now I'm certain this revenge scheme are not satisfying for some reason .
