Chapter 45~

chapter 53~art is top tier, there’s great side characters, and the 1st season was really good even tho there are plot holes . I was excited for the second one even tho I was worried about where they could go (plot wise) and who the ml was gonna be. And just like I thought and PREYED NOT TO BE the ml, it was to be. WHYYYY you so could have taken the story and ml in a different way. Like this is some coho shit I wasn’t expecting; wtf is this relationship. Sure it’s not “technically” wrong since you’re not related since yk adoption exists but you still grew up together as you know SIBLINGS you call each other brother and sister for goodness sake she calls her adopted parents you know _her parents_. She accepted them as such and you accepted her as your sister it was literally a whole thing in the first season this is literally as close as you can get the insect without it being insect. I got physically sick reading this cause I was so disappointed and disgusted. Smh i had such high hopes for this bc of the other work they produced that was pretty good. And of course the one time I didn’t read the comments it had to be this. this was the biggest bait and switch I have ever seen in anything I’ve read. I really convinced my self it wasn’t going to be him when I was reading like whyyy im so mad they took the story this way and I’ve read some really, reallllyyy questionable and concerning things before but the biggest difference is I was expecting all of that I was expecting it to be bad in one way, shape, or form I read watpads for fun and I love myself a good horribly written or translated story. I’m more so disappointed it makes me mad type of mad, then anything else I’ll probably try to finish this since im already this far and it won’t take long at all to finish; there are side characters i enjoy but im not 100% sure yet. I wanna give it a 2.5/5 so bad but that’s just the petty inside me so instead 3/5 as of now for the art, side characters and 1st season but expecting rating to drop if i do read further since yk ignorance is bliss.

It’s more so a dolt but it’s still intriguing. The translation falls off after the 15th? Chapter so I’ll wait till there’s a better translation to actually read it cause I can’t for the life of me read a shit translation.

A shameful forgotten novel, from her past; resurfaces its self in the from of a disturbing dream that follows her in her waking life. A silent prayer, meant for no one but her own peace of mind; turns her life upside down. when she herself enters this past novel, turned dream. Instead of being alarmed she embraces the change of genre her life took. Until the day starts repeating itself and a mysterious man comes to make a deal in exchange for not killing her. With fate seemingly working against her every desire for this life; she must find a way to break free from the destiny she herself wrote 10 years prior. Will she uncover any answers from her ever growing list of questions? Will she be forced to take a backseat in control over her second life? Or will she overcome each problem with grace and achieve everything she desires? Although it was a solid read with decent art; i wouldn’t be the first in line to fight tooth and nail just to reread this. The story ark on the ML and FL moved a fit fast for me and had me questioning why/how the had such deep feeling for each other so fast. I am more of a slow burn type of girl but I still enjoy fast paced love. But this was on a whole other level of being strangers to suddenly madly in love. It felt like the og novel was a slow burn filled with innuendoes, flirting, lust, and over all just the right type of mood for a fast paced love story. But this depiction of it really missed the mark on portraying those feeling in a manwa/manga form. Doesn’t get me started of the ending! It was so fast you could sneeze and it would be over before you caught your next breath. It really seems like it was rushed for external reasons but given the chance it would be done slower according to the team working on it. Expessiosly given the fact they couldn’t do the epilogue. It seemed like it could have went on for at least 20 or so more episodes. Still it gave and showed us everything we needed to know on how it ended. Now on to the art. Although not bad at all I’ve seen way better. Although im not mad cause I’ve seen a lot worse too. It’s pretty average but honestly there were paint were you can really see the art style pop but for some reason it was diluted throughout the story. I feel that if they really leaned into the artist’s style it could have been really special. Now last point: the characters. It mainly focuses on the Ml and FL for basically the whole story; besides when occasionally another person comes in to affect the story in some way; before immediately disappearing again the first chance they get. It’s understandable given the whole set up of the story with the ML becoming the FL’s butler and them spreading a lot of time alone; but it got kinda boring, and repetitive fast. And often times I forgot the whole goal of a plot line near the end of it until it reminded you. Although lacking in different ways this was a decent read and if broad I would read it again (maybe) 3.5/5

~74 Spoiler********** Starts out with the ML perspective, it constantly switches between the two of them mostly staying with the FL. FL has lived 2 lives before hand, both lives she’s lost her children and either had a horrible or dead husband. Also killed her self cause omg her regression. ML loved her in her first life too; unsure about the second life since she ran away with someone. Currently the FL wants the MLs child, ML is talking contraceptives without her knowing (he missed on day on their latest vacation so there is a chance she’s currently pregnant although it’s way to early to tell) since the FL possibly has a weak body/mind. Their waiting on a doctor from out of the country to show up. Someone is threatening the life of one of the MC cause the ML to send the FL off to a wedding in Mendoza to test who there after. Anyway I like this story so far I have high hopes for it though I cause see it going down hill but not at the same time. Only time will tell. It’s giving your throne and remarried empress vibes and I adore that. Looking forward to the rest of the story.

Last episode of the prologue.… -Spoilers ahead - Mc remembers past life, she remembers being a cast out freak who saw ghosts and was unloved by her family. After dying to the fated truck she’s reborn in a while with magic, and of course ghost, she’s able to see them once again. Being born into a loving family with a younger sister she swears to perfect what she has by laying low and pretending not to see ghost. After losing her mother her and her father go to the palace where she’s unable to ignore the many ghost haunting the place. One day when she visits the palace with her sister she finds out her sister is susceptible to being possessed by the evil intent of evil spirits (ghosts who forget who they are and their name). Determined to protect her sister she moves away for the capital/palace with her sister. Years later she visits the palace and hears a rumor from the ghost they the second prince is going to be poisoned at the up coming traditional ball. She decided to help. Her and the prince grow closer. It’s revealed that they once met when they were kids and she helped him with something he was struggling with causing hind to never forget her and eventually idolize her / fall for her. The prince is know as the moon of the empire ruled by the sun. Long story short a “goddess” falls in love with a king giving him 3 wishes. His wishes have consequences leading to a curse of having one child be blessed with perfection but everything they love and care for whither away and dies to balance the score. The moon was supposed to die but the goddess switched the roles of the blessed to start a new rule since the moon was kinder then the sun (egotistical, god complex) the mc was loved by the ML cause if her to put her life on the line for him according to the curse. Long story short she get hit by an arrow and should have died but didn’t cause her to have her role in the curse be over and I turn be free from its influence. She wants to break the curse and was given a hint by the goddess in order to due so. She making a deal with the ml to not get married and wait for her. She goes off to her home land to find this clue the goddess talked about.
