There is nothing worse than running into a comic that is just boring af. One thing about some BL even though 90% of it is toxic, unhealthy SA relationships it’s at least mildly interesting. This one is just like nothing. It’s ironic how this comic is about baseball, and I felt the same about reading this comic, the same way I feel about watching a baseball game. I don’t even really like sports romance BL, but I was willing to give this a try because I wanted to see why it was so popular, but I don’t get it. Like what did yall like about this? All the characters are boring, annoying, insufferable, or are just there to serve the plot. The hoobae is annoying and doesn’t even really serve a purpose to the plot. The seme is just mean to everyone for no reason, like he doesn’t even have a seriously ‘sad backstory tm’ to make up for it he just sucks. And I get that beauty is subjective, but like, he looks just a normal dude on the street. He looks like the side character or extra I’ve seen in every BL I’ve read, he’s just not attractive… at all, it doesn’t make sense for him to be popular at all. How does even have friends, how do his teammates tolerate him. If they lose he takes it out on everyone, if they win he’s still mad and takes it out on everyone. He literally smashed the MC into a wall cuz he couldn’t bother to communicate his feelings, like who does that. I honestly feel like that’s an abusive relationship waiting to happen, cuz god forbid the seme encounters a minor inconvience and decides lets ignore my bae all day for no reason or apesh*t on him and not explain anything. Anyways I hate this, I regret wasting my time on this. The art is servicable, it’s a nice style but all the character designs look plain af, so it’s just boring to look at. Just take my 1 out of 10. Honestly I don’t even want to put this in my already read. This was the most nothing burger crap I’ve read in my life.

Read this when I was younger. Thought it was a masterpiece. 13yo me was so f*cking stupid istg. It’s low-key fine if you ignore the first two chapters, but t still this is way more terrible than I remembered.
