The Two Lions
10 out of 10 I love absolute gems like these, they don't need to use smut or anything to progress the story and it's fine on it's own. Also love the strangers to friends to lovers, always a great classic and we actually got to see them get to know each other overtime. And I love how Junpei ended up inspiring Leo to socialize more. And that we got to close off his arc with the man coming back to thank him, you never know who your actions affect, and I'm glad he got to learn his strife through high school was not for nothing. Wonderful, healthy relationship, also glad that Junpei ended up apologizing for almost kissing him while he was drunk. Drunk consent or no denial does not equal consent. Super subtle, but I'm glad that was called out. Also the fact that they actually COMMUNICATED. MY GOSH IT'S SO HARD TO FIND GOOD STORIES WHERE PEOPLE COMMUNICATE. This author never misses istg-
Rumspringa no Joukei
I don't even care about the age gap this time. This was beautiful ( ‘́⌣’̀)/(˘̩̩ε˘̩ƪ) 8 out of 10 Totally a great gem, 80s is always a good setting. (still hate the fact he was a light-haired seme lmao)
Koi ga Michitara
10 out of 10 Could've easily gone downhill with the cheating/jealousy misunderstanding plot but it easily subverted my expectations. Thank goodness. Again, very atmospheric and I love they showed how powerful communication is. :D
Koi ga Ochitara
9 out of 10 I really love this author and how atmospheric they make their mangas look. I really enjoyed Kitaru Harekake no Ashita yo. I don't like age gap that much, but this one didn't feel predatory or anything, except the beginning when he admitted to purposefully dropping his clothes which was borderline cute and creepy at the same time. (Please nobody else do this) But other than that thank goodness for no serious cheating, love triangle, or crazy misunderstandings, for the most part they were good at communication. Can't wait to read the sequel :3.
A Story of Their First Time - Yuri!!! on ICE dj
10 out of 10 Perfection. Beautiful art. Realistic. Surprisingly very educational. Definitely deserves a reread.
A Thousand Cranes
9.5 out of 10 No complaints, defies all expectations and could’ve easily gone south, but stayed healthy and fluffy all throughout. Usually shorter mangas/manhuas have a lot of trouble with pacing but this one felt just fine, and I had no trouble staying hooked throughout definitely a joy to reread. Only gripe is that they got together after like 2 weeks or so . I’ve never been a big fan of quick relationships, but other than that this is one of my faves.
Kazoku Ni Narouyo
Was perfect until the author told me they were a shotacon-

9.5 out of 10 This is one of the ONLY popular comics that deserves to be popular because of its healthy relationship AND CONSENSUAL. It's so beautiful to see it progress and that we get to see closure on both arcs. I love stories of people with disabilities being able to find love. It's always so beautiful. The story premise is absurd, but eventually, you forget about it once you get farther into the comic, similar to BL Motel. The side character with pink hair is so funny. I immediately fell in love with him. I have no complaints, except that it's a bit too long. It starts to feel a little slow towards the end, and I wish I had seen more development of the side couple's story. But other than that, mastapeece :3.
