Summer Eyes
in all honesty, i’ve been off putting this manga since i thought that they would make the size gap into some pedophilic nonsense and it made me back away for a while. i just finished reading it and I WISH I COULD SMACK MY PAST SELF WHAT THE FUCK THIS MANGA IS SO GOOD! the way they uplift and support each other through their differences and love themselves because of it is just so heartwarming :( everything about this manga is just so beautifully drawn and written and the characters are so humane. i feel like im looking through the eyes of a child being told a bedtime story and it’s just so magnificent. i loved it so much i could cry
Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!
NAKAMURA IS SO DAMN ADORABLE WHAT THE FUCK ?!?!? his little attempts and plans to talk to hirose were so heartwarming and just purely adorable :( hirose’s friends are assholes and im glad they’re friends now (hopefully more!) hehe i loved this so much its so ugh
Ao Haru Ride
kou was a victim, narumi was a manipulator. futaba was partly wrong for agreeing to date kukichi but he tool her emotional distress as an advantage. kou is not some deranged sick male interest that has a slightly tragic backstory—the way he acts and distances himself is realistic. stop hating actual protrayal of mental illness to the media if you’re only going to put malice on the effects of it you don’t agree or romanticize. mentally unstable people are assholes sometimes. sometimes for a reason, never an excuse.
Salad Days (Tang LiuZang) Webtoon
this ... is gorgeous. like drop dead gorgeous. the art, the writingㅡhow the characters live and present themselves. the contrast between the elegance of dance and violence of boxing and how they're both performed by men who're constantly shallowed in a box and how they outgrow them. the romance is adorable, jiang shen's province life is so nostalgic. i love how open and comfortable bai jinyi is to his lifestyle and how he constantly does things he wouldn't normally do. i love how they care for each other in the most mature and spiritually uplifting way and how their romance just makes them a better person both in and out of their careers. salad days is a masterpiece. i normaly wouldn't add books i haven't read to my lists, but the story is already too good to get bad. i love it so much
Kiraide Isasete
for one, im not a huge fan of the omegaverse. i know the basics though, most ive read pertaining the genre—tbh they were horrible. but this, they highlighted the discrimination and prejudice the way its always been in the real world. i love naoto, god i know he’s a fictional character because no man is that good. he’s just a pure and loving partner and adores his kids; whether it’s his blood or not and i love him for that. i kinda want kids now (/ _ ; )

Fools
this was simply amazing. this is by far the most realistic manhwa i have ever read. realistic and humane characters that deals with emotions i’d totally understand. the anxiety just leaves me everytime there’s some hindrance in their relationship because at the end of the day, they talk, communicate and sort things out like mature people who genuinely love and care for each other. they are characters that felt like it was pulled out from the ground and molded into something i’d see in reality. i love them so much. this manhwa was amazing.
King's Maker
this was AMAZING. it was plot driven and the characters were written so flawed and realistically. shin is one of the most diverse and counter-intuitive characters i’ve read about in manhwas and i love him for it. his actions were well thought and the way anxiety and work builds up on him was so good. i love wolfgang, he is a true king. i love every single one of the main cast, specially cook who made fanfiction honestly, like my words aren’t even enough to describe such a good manhwa. its historical, its ragged and raw and real and amazing. one of the best things i have ever read.
