Okay so heres what I think, I believe that the more ml uses his power the more his internal temperature increases which can be deadly because there would be a limit until he loses control (as most espers do in these types of universes) and so thats why there is the guides, who are cold and maybe can help the espers and take their heat in to stay a decent temperature of coldness (not too cold).

Multiple people, its also not really a guide x esper series, but multiple espers targeting that guide which is out MC 28, our main man is starting to show his true feelings for our MC :’/, 55 is wild
