Why do bl authors think rape is hot? Or appealing in any sort of way?

I've always liked this authors "To take an enemy's heart" both that and this have such good stories, I love enemies to lovers trope BUT I really despise how the author chose to include couple rape - in the chapters where (SPOILER) tasara merged (SPOILER OVER) and treat it like it was nothing and never even mention it later on, also there's a lot of scenes where the consent is AT BEST dubious, with Nara sleeping or just saying plainly no and Tasara not listening and I hate it, cause the smut And stories of this author are so good, just please educate yourself more on the topic of consent and couple rape

Just rapefest, disgusting

This author manages to somehow turn every good plotline into a rape disgusting mess. The two had such a good relationship start and the author just fucked it all up. But what did I expect of pedophilic-loving, abusive-toxic-fetishizer that manages to turn every sex scene into a sexual assault one. Why do japanese authors think rape is hot ? Besides beautiful art style it's just rapefest, I like enemies to lovers but it's just a shitty douchebag top, awful slave-trade trope, just meh. And I can guarantee you the top won't even have much of a redemption, just will fall in love, monopolize, rape even more and then the bottom will "fall in love" (Stockholm syndrome) and "happy ending"
