Raphael's manga / #rape = love(139)

This really didn't do it for me. I tried to read this once, couldn't do it. Tried again later, stille couldn't do it. This time I did it by skipping pages that were too gruesome for me. I don't mind the occasional BDSM (I even enjoy it), but this isn't just rape (we all know how yaoi deals with that). No, this is worse. At least for me. The seme doesn't care about the wellfare of the uke at all. Yeah, some will argue "it's just his way of showing love". But fuck no! That is not love. The is possessiveness and the love of control. I will not be reading the next update. Not unless this seme does a 180 and starts treating the uke like he should. He can still be in control when they're having sex without having to actually (seriously) harm the uke. Ugh! This was not something for me.

I don't really feel the love or the attraction with the two main characters. Hopefully that will change.

I can't count how many times I've read this. I even quote the "let me hear more of your sweet whispers" with my friends.

I can't get past the rape and how stupid the semes are. Seriously, one of them says that he won't forget the uke, except that we all know he alreadys has. Multiple times actually. I know yaoi often has the rape turns to love theme, but this was just too much.

I really love this mangaka, but this story just didn't do it for me. I didn't really like the seme or uke.
