Royal Servant

Complete | MasterGin,Chungnyun | 2016 released

The development between Kyon and Lucaon is probably one of the best, and my favourite thing to read. It just felt so natural while reading, like it wasn't forcefully expressed that the feelings were developing for both of them, but you could just feel and see it through their actions. To be honest, I didn't start loving Royal Servant right off the bat and even thought that it was boring/ not that interesting but damn, I think this is going into my Top 5 BL webtoons. Sigh..... really wished there was more closure with some other elements though (Ryan and Christopher, Edward, etc. Maybe even some more about Sihan and Karis). However, I actually do enjoy the ending with Kyon and Lucaon. I don't know if I can say it's 100% satisfying, but I do think that it was a really good ending and can't exactly think of a better way to end it while not making it seem way too ideal/ unrealistic. Definitely hoping for a whole bunch of extras though

THEO

Complete | AONO Nachi | 2017 released

Really wonderful! in comparison to most of the bl i've read this felt really romantic, like they genuinely loved for each other unlike the manipulative trope that's common in yaoi.

Such an admirable fiction love story of those two who were considerably desperate from thirst in one way possible. Sigh... somehow I'm not satisfied with the ending, I wonder if the author deliberately did it because He/she seem quite proficient at their work. Still I hope there would be a sequel to this story since it has so much potential remaining left.

Noblesse

Complete | son jae ho,Lee Gwang-Su | 2008 released

Truly a considerable master piece, this story keeps you at the edge of your seat. I love the beginning of Noblesse all the way to the middle of the Traitors Clan Arc with Roctis Karvel. I love how logical the power level of Noblesse was and how Rai stood at the pinnacle of that. I love how wild and uncontrollable Frankenstein is yet he choose to serve Rai which shows the depth and bond of their relationship. I love the fact that Rai is weak to technology and all the silly dry humor that come with Noblesse. But most of all, I love the fact that the characters are complex and thoroughly explore. Even the villain characters has their own backstory and motives. But all of that begin to change after Roctis died. The power logic became inconsistent. The villains became those stereotypical villains that are just pure evil. The humor became melodramatic rather than dry, and most of all, the characters stop growing and just remain the same for the rest of the story. I like Noblesse a lot but the latter half of the series could have been better. In my opinion, I think Rai should have died. Rather than just conveniently transfer life force into him, it would be more logical that he die due to using too much of his life force. That's because that's was what the story was building up to. Also, I honestly thought that Frankenstein would be the last boss and not Crombel. The reason for that is because the story has been foreshadowing that Frankenstein might one day get taken over by the dark spear. He killed Crombel after getting consume by the dark spear. As he wreck havoc onto the world, Rai would then be reborn from the ashes like a Phoenix to stop Frankenstein. (From my perspectives though) This story has so much potential left. I generously admire the authers work.

I can't get enough!! Even this is more "action pact" then a lot of what I read, just the story line, the characters, both the serious and funny all blend to an ultimate piece of work.

Koyoi wa Kimi to Chi no Kisu

Complete | tateno makoto | 2008 released

Ha.. The second story, with saisei, haha! uke was a dhampir hybrid of a human and a vampire that's just freakishly weird. Yasuhara accepted the situasion and hunted Saisei down in his lair. The concept of the stories is creative but the details were a bit much accept for the last story...It was cliched but also unique in it's own way. I love the melancholic atmosphere; that even though we had them reunited there's still the lingering sadness, especially for Riku's family. Riku cannot thoroughly separate himself from the life he has before. It was mesmerizing to see how the vampires experienced love from humans perspectives.
