111/111 as of 09/25/2024 A bookworm, antisocial main character. Four students were summoned to the world of Edea, in order to be heroes! But a fifth student was accidentally transported too, and his status screen didn’t have the “Hero” title like how the others did. Instead, his was “Innocent Bystander”. Hiiro - an ironic name that DOES get confused for the word ‘Hero’ a lot in the story - opts out of acting with the others right away, finding the summoning and general nature of the Human king to be selfish and unreasonable. So Hiiro becomes an adventurer, using his unique “Word Magic”, a type of magic that allows him to write out kanji and the effects will depend on how he understands/uses the words. He’s very smart, seems standoffish but is sweet at the core, and very food/book motivated. So if he wants to help someone out, Hiiro will usually ask for a meal in return. Also, Hiiro was raised at an orphanage. Because of this, he has a slight weakness for children, and ends up saving a lot of youngins.

44/44 as of 01/31/2025 I want more of this ASAP, but also don’t want to rush it so it maintains this amazing quality… mixed feelings.
