I never read het romance, but I honestly enjoyed this one. I liked that it was from the female perspective, and the men in the story are just as objectified (ha). I preferred the side story about the protagonist's friends who cross the friendzone with each other and try to navigate that awkwardness. The art style starts to get noticeably lazier as you get towards the later chapters, which was frustrating. It's so gradual that it's not too obvious until you see a flashback of something that happened in the first few chapters and the difference is so glaring. It was probably just a result of the artist getting more comfortable with drawing the characters, but even so, art should be consistent throughout an entire comic.

The protagonist is hilariously ballsy and crazy. His ex is the real MVP tho. Hides him from mafia, helps film blackmail porn, gives him a tazer, is his getaway driver, willing to be targeted by mafia to save his sister.....this is just a regular dude?! Why is he an ex tho lmao. Need a man who would literally hide a body for you no questions asked.
