(initial) tags only refer to 2nd couple let's start off with I GENUINELY DID NOT CARE FOR THE MAIN COUPLE OF SEASON 1 AKA RUM AND GINGER. holy shit. i could not stand them. they aren't actually bad. i'm just really not interested in their dynamic. maybe if ginger was the bottom, i'd care. fuck the every childhood friends pinning trope bro unless they're funny/rivals HOWEVER- THE SECOND COUPLE I LIKE. mon and mananan u r my angels season 2 focused on mon and mananan but it was rlly super dramatic and i was kinda disappointed haha i wish these 2 got together slower it was v fast and i think thats what made s2 kinda lame

few notes: — i adored this webtoon when i first read it. it’s one of those series where once you read it, it’ll never blow you away as much after. — the uke, dg, is pretty pathetic. he’s a pushover and he doesn’t have much personality other than admiring alex. the second hand embarrassment is real but that’s not what i mind: it’s that he’s a genuinely boring character alone. several times during my reread, i got irked but how pushy he was about things and the way he acted. so irritating. but, in my first read i didn’t mind as much (or rather i was too caught up in the angst to really pay a closer attention) — the ending/last chapter was incredible, well. that’s maybe too much but it was good and tugged at my heartstrings and i even teared up. it’s so cute. i’ve never been so affected by a webtoon’s ending. it’s not that it’s sad. but it’s because [spoiler] alex ceases to exist. jiwon abandons his job to live as himself and it’s just- read it. — like i said earlier, you really would lose the amazement and adoration for the series aftwr a reread or two (more like you’ll be less impressed which albeit understandable, there are multiple webtoons and mangas out there that ive reread multiple times and still enjoyed always *cough* ameiro paradox *cough*). but still, it’s a rollercoaster and i love it so much! definitely, probably, won’t reread it unless it’s been 10 years lolol

the story kinda goes “meh!” after awhile since it stops focusing on the main couple and on to the second couple who ON GOD I DO NOT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT the dialogue goes hard asf as expected of park ji-yeon and it gives MAJOR green creek series vibes fluffy and funny then BOOM angst and drama :,( theres also a side couple who are wlw the nsfw scenes arent vague or censored or whatever its pretty good but bc its rlly plot oriented u dont rlly think about it

HOLY FUCK I LOVE THIS WEBTOON SO MUCH AND I CANNOT WAIT TO REREAD IT SOON!!!! the art was really weird to me at first and i actually dropped the story for awhile bc the first couple chapters were pretty boring before eventually reading it again. the style quickly grew on me and i ended up being obsessed with the art style. the bottom annoyed me at first not gonna lie lmao. I LOVE THE SEME SO MUCH !!!!!!!! his personality is so chill, and he’s sooo handsome and sooooo my type and ahhh he’s everything LISTEN. they are the cutest ever and they have these like little gestures of romance like just cuddling moments and THEY ARENT BORING TYPE OF FLUFF its still so fun ahhh the last couple chapters i have mixed feelings of. it’s sort of like uhhhh that one webtoon i read,,, uhh,,, “work, fight and love” where they could have ended it then and there but then they added in more drama. except in this case, i just think it was a bit too short-paced. the drama and angst was definitely necessary! ahhh one of my top faves reread: review stays the same :)

honestly, i remember this being better than it was. it’s still good, don’t get me wrong. it was just better in memory. the storytelling is kinda all over the place and i feel like a floating, invisible object to the characters sometimes lol wish we got more explanations on their wolves and fox mythology it was pretty vague and honestly this could story could still work without it and nothing would change

harada is an incredibly dark artist, that’s no secret. this story is as dark as can be and has brought me to start questioning things. i’ve always been very open when it comes to fiction but i suppose to mindset presented in this work in particular makes me question some stuff. not really in a “this work is bad!” type of way but on the author itself. i can’t really tell if it’s their mindset or just exploration. when this story talks about a relationship being wrong, i wonder whether they’re talking about the pedophilia aspect or the fact they’re gay. nonetheless, it was an incredibly frightening read. very good work!! i think fiction is meant to make you feel something but that something doesn’t have to be good.

well haaa what now… let’s talk about it per couple. starting from the last to be introduced to the first, aka the main couple. III. living together it’s fine. it’s not bad. actually, it leans on being good. it’s just not that interesting or amazing. it just is. II. delivery guys yeah no this sucked. i didn’t want to give it a shot because i wanted the shorter guy to too and i could tell he wouldn’t but still i gave it one anyways. the story was boring as FUCK and that has nothing to do with my position preference. definitely skip this one. I. main couple oh man. okay. i like this couple. really, i do. in fact, i might even be obsessed with them — only if they hadn’t given the seme /that/ kind of background. see, the seme used to bottom for his uncle. has a womb tattoo and all. that completely ruined my mood. legit threw a tantrum and as i’m typing, i’m already getting irritated. at least the jealousy scenes were really good but fuck, it’s still irritating. i wish we had a major MAJOR jealousy scene where the uke actually slept with someone else and the seme goes batshit crazy. maybe then i wouldn’t be this fucking bothered. haaaa… what a waste. i would rate it a solid 5 if it wasn’t for that fucking background. the uke is really cute. the seme really reminds of levi. it’s like riren with first season eren lolol
