Under Grand Hotel
copied from initial read: oh wow thete’s a lot to take in it’s /really/ good and went BEYOND my expectations. it’s full of drama and a plot. the thing is i did get bothered by how often the uke gets raped by other guys that rlly pissed me off probably would never reread like it’s intriguing cause of problematic and controversial themes but ehhhh it rlly is emotionally heavy the mains switch but not with each other it was kinda annoying but tolerable enough

https://twitter.com/hyoojn/status/1491505484427575296?s=21 okay. where to begin? let’s start with… oh god, i’m in love. this was amazing. now let’s addeess the elephant in the room and that is the relationship of the three. most people including me can agree that take and mine are the superior pairing by LEAGUES. how i currently view the dynamic is that take and hiroi are pretty platonic. they view each other as one another’s other half and can’t function without the other, but they don’t see each other in a romantic light at all. they’re just dependent. take is interested in mine. mine thinks take likes hiroi, but actually it’s him. hiroi likes mine and mine likes hiroi. take seems to be jealous of hiroi in the sense that he wants more of his share. they usually have a 50/50, maybe a 70/30, when it comes to lovers, but with mine, take isn’t completely satisfied with his share. hiroi begins to be possessive when he realizes that take and mine get along well and are INCREDIBLY SEXUALLY COMPATIBLE. in the end, they’re still happy to share. i kinda have a love-hate relationship with this outcome because i just couldn’t see an end in which they split up, but i guess i wanted a little more action with takemine as they has an interesting dynamic and clearly liked each other a lot.

Nii-chan (harada)
harada is an incredibly dark artist, that’s no secret. this story is as dark as can be and has brought me to start questioning things. i’ve always been very open when it comes to fiction but i suppose to mindset presented in this work in particular makes me question some stuff. not really in a “this work is bad!” type of way but on the author itself. i can’t really tell if it’s their mindset or just exploration. when this story talks about a relationship being wrong, i wonder whether they’re talking about the pedophilia aspect or the fact they’re gay. nonetheless, it was an incredibly frightening read. very good work!! i think fiction is meant to make you feel something but that something doesn’t have to be good.
