Man, others may think MC is always like a pushover, but it's only because his background isn't strong enough, has no mother and also has to take care of his sick father, moreover he as a human tends to make mistakes. The system he obtained is ONLY limited to cooking, it works in the military surroundings than other places and even if it's a cheat, it has its own downsides too. Like if he offended his Superiors by mistake, favourability decreases (Tho I prefer if they Expelled that piggy-b*chy head & his accomplice specifically rather than nitpicking each and every fault of good persons.) It's sad that in the beginning the MC wasn't exactly recognised for his efforts and had to be screened time and again because of his special case. He does improve later on, but I'd sensed that the food system is unnecessarily adding romance (not that men don't have desires, but MC is not yet prepared fully to accept love whole heartedly cuz his gf was mentioned in between and there remains a gap in terms of spending time getting to know each other, meaning that their relationship is still not solid enough. The interactions between the military are CONFUSING. I admit that I remember the others only by eyes, hair or its color, face and overall body size. But atleast some mild action could have been there, like actually going to a battle or work emergencies instead of just Food. Also, balancing favourability between a certain limit is ridiculous, like numbers would tend to change?? How would he know to keep a distance to continue the new class? Got wasted just because of that. Sad that this has good potential, but even if the main point is cooking, some more plot could have been better. Brain-dead people are bullying for no good reason and they still continue even after knowing MC's food taste good, they themselves won't admit it. So anyone looking to read this, just turn off ur brains.

I read all the chapters and though it feels rushed here, it's good in the sense that instead of running away from the palace 'drama' or taking plain revenge on the 'heroine' or accepting some XYZ punishment/execution after the result is accepted, this is a proper political ploy on how nobility would perform cuz in the end power play done well can turn the tables even within the time limit of 1 day. Some random saying goes that a lot of money can even make a ghost rise from the dead. In this case, Alexandra used everything to her potential and downplayed what that psycho-narcisstic-hyper Lublach did from the beginning. Her past life (Alexa) was an office worker, maybe her profession could have been either related to finance or an analyst. That's how she could keep a calm mind whereas Lublah was only stuck to all the handsome guys, impulsive in nature and unable to read the room when it mattered, exposing her two-faced side. The other side charas who were men supporting her were also tr*sh, with one redeeming himself and the others either suffering loses or suffering including one being dead. Glad to see Gerald giving his own support and even defending her from that CP-no-more jerk. I felt more sorry towards the royal couple as they knew if she were to be the Queen, the country would enter destruction as she was never told to stop chasing men. If she had paid attention, she would have also realised that the mystery (?) girl didn't reveal her facial features later on as they grew up, ALWAYS sat inside a locked room inside space and attempted to bring another person (FMC) into the game! She knew it but didn't take swift reaction as well. The 'close friend' reveals her identity leaving Lublach frightened. And she thanks the FMC afar for letting her be free towards the end. Gerald & FMC have a child 3 years later and ends on a good note. Waiting for extras~

Reading this makes me lose my IQ too much. It's like seeing kids fighting for a toy. And one potential ML surprisingly is someone who knew the original MC inside of Jaewoo that transmigrated. The worst thing I don't like is how he is so dmn clueless about HOW the characters changed so much? Come on, did he forget the novel or was the body itself made him dumb? He couldn't even put the equation of 'himself' as the one for triggering their soft spots and claims himself to have been to school, still goes with a stranger when he could have just blocked the number. True, they are big shot people, but unnecessary actions would only do more harm than good. Also, later when MC realises he grew feelings for Hyeonjin, he doesn't seem to communicate properly, poor guy had to blame himself for being the cause of MC's misery. I'm only able to continue reading due to Hyeonjin & family interactions & cooking parts. And it's still unknown what type of "friend" relationship Yoon had with MC, but taking him against his decision outside (?as in how) is a no-go for me, forget that, MC doesn't even know he isn't the actual person at all.

The FMC is a literal image of a cat, even her name 'Mao Mao' shows that. She is a walking example of 'curiousity killed the cat' and there are many funny moments as there are sad parts about the dark parts of politics irrespective of gender. Frankly speaking, without Mao's plot armour, she would be long dead due to the large amount of lines she has crossed and there were situations like that as well. But I admit it's done well though I would have preferred her to be single than to be lead around like a cat toy by a narcissistic, self centred "ennuch" (backgrounds between them are also complex, so unfortunately unable to disobey orders) Also if some readers are uncomfortable with sex worker related plots or perverted characters in certain parts, reading this could put mental strain and this wouldn't be for everyone. But do try enjoying this story cuz it does give off a different vibe that even in romance, it isn't always 'happily ever after' and how time changes even the best of people into strangers. Like bees (men) having stingers and flowers possessing thorns/ some butterflies being poisonous or flirty in nature (both referring to women's beauty)

Frankly, this deserves 3.8 stars, but rounding it to 4 Only because of the character designs and power scenes. Aria, the FMC had not a very good childhood to speak of other than Pi, so she didn't know about giving a choice to the ML. It also seems she isn't too good with words when it comes to interacting with him, not to mention The fact that the original is changing for novel's sake....she doesn't realises the amount of butterfly effects she has caused with so much going on, she does know that things change here and there, But is unfortunately not taken too seriously. ML might be a wild card in her perspective, but I feel she just can't bear to use it as she didn't want him to repeat through all those tragedies. ML also tried and did his best, also kept himself away as much as possible. No direct offense, but sometimes Aria acts as a dumb girl. And deserters in a party, that newbie priest shouldn't have been spared, some other one was better cuz they cost unnecessary lives of useful people. Overall the plot is good, though Pi being a gender bender was giving me mixed hints and a slight creepy vibe.
