La Dolce Vita di Adelaide
Amazing main couple, great communication and initiative from our MC. One misunderstanding at the very end feels like it was just thrown in there so it wasn't perfectly smooth sailing, which is understandable but it didn't fit very well and was slighly out of character for them. BUT, great premise, challenging the saintess but staying several steps ahead of her. MC goes with the flow and just does what feels right instead of overthinking things and I love it.
I Was Born As The Demon Lord's Daughter
Author actually listened and gave us the ML we wanted! It does feel a little awkward though because the writing leads you to expect one person and it was kind of just suddenly switched at the end due to public opinion. It was a little frustrating to read her pining over a guy that no one wanted her to be with, but her other relationships and the fix at the end are great!
Miss Not-So Sidekick
SUCH a relatable MC, throwing money into the faces of her adversaries and antagonizing the cringey male leads of the og story. The end pairing is to die for, 10/10 for the two of them. Also, it's freaking hilarious nonstop laughter in the art and dialogue. A little slow in the middle but not for long.
Who's Your Daddy?
Love the yandere style ML, some points off for a bunch of misunderstandings that should've been easy to resolve but otherwise nice.
Virtues of the Villainess
First chapters are a little frustrating because of how naive the MC is, but it smooths itself out and gets super cute after the beginning (although annoying it does set up her character well for later). The art is gorgeous and the main relationship is teasing and adorable. Our MC also doesn't wait for anything, if she feels something she acts on it, if she wants it she at least tries her best.
Masked Woman
IRIS - Lady with a Smartphone
For something that's in the title, she barely uses her phone. It gets some action, a few inventions, but feels massively underplayed in the story compared to what it could be. Also, romance is a subplot that tries to act like more than it is. It's cute but just feels really left in the background. It's more of a historical drama revenge plot, which for that was pretty ok. Not amazing but not terrible. The relationships with the other guys were super cute, it would've been a majorly redeeming aspect if it wasn't only shown in a few chapters.
Positively Yours
Pretty typical accidental pregnancy storyline, most of the plot consists of the MC being unable to accept her feelings and trying to get through that. The antagonist setup was painfully obvious, our villainess was pretty much a throwaway doll for development with all the personality she had. It can definitely get frustrating at the beginning because the MC pretty much just goes through a bunch of events and reacts with 'oh no, but I can't because I'm so sure it'll turn out badly' every single time. I do like their relationship later on, though, so it wasn't bad in the end.
The Monster Duchess and Contract Princess
There's a lot of things to like about this one, the family members are adorable, MC's powers are super interesting and cute, the ending was super satisfying. Even with all that, I can't get over how much I don't like the MC herself. She's presented as having these genius level magic powers that make her incredibly strong, but it rarely comes up until the end. Most of the time she's throwing herself head first into trouble and then crying as a damsel in distress until her family can come save her. For most of the story instead of her helping it would've saved everyone time and trouble if she had just stayed home. Yeah, she's a kid with trauma. That doesn't make it any better to read her shout that she's gonna be helpful for once and end up just sitting somewhere crying.
