Sooo cute and great smut scenes! I really enjoyed the tiny angst moment where the ML got what he deserved for being douchy in his intentions and then how quickly it was resolved. Normally, I like to see them regret and suffer more but this was timed in a way that felt like he was truly sorry and it was happier for MC to have it resolved. Overall plenty of fluff and cuteness!

Sura's Lover

Complete | Shin yuri | 2019 released

Dropped. Well drawn but MC doesn't like to use common sense and gets himself into so much trouble that could've been avoided. I like yandere MLs, but this one is toxic to the point that their relationship together just makes me sad rather than happy. The first villain also lives waaaay too long. He basically tortures the MC, using blackmail so they can't kill him, only for them to kill him later anyways. It made it feel like they suffered the whole time for nothing. MC is 'innocent', 'kind', and 'naive', to the point of being annoying. Like a pick-me or white lotus. Ultimately hurting others because they're so stuck on being kind, making things worse, and then crying when shit actually happened.

Nope nope nope. ML straight-up SA's MC, not whoops I got drunk, not I was drugged, not dubcon, just gross pain. He's an actually terrifying person that fights for a living, using his physical demeanor as a weapon against MC at every moment. MC is a vulnerable person that got taken advantage of, then was pressured with fear to stay in a 'relationship' with ML. Sometimes I don't mind when MLs are rude, and I just look forward to their regret arc and then redemption. Not here. I just want ML to go to jail and MC to find someone who deserves him.

Your wish is my command

Complete | Sagold | 2000 released

Soooo many ups and downs for our main couple. I'm not a big fan of the world resets and everybody forgets kinds of endings but I do agree it was probably the best way for our couple to still end up together. I enjoyed the end anyways and was especially happy to see our second ML come back to life! He was the main reason their relationship would never be able to work, and it would've been icky even if MC had lost his memories and could be happy with ML so it was a good choice. The magic was pretty interesting, too. Everything has a price and on the way to get your wish granted, you could lose so much more. It was a pretty deep meaning and complex emotions from a magical boy story. Nonetheless, a welcome surprise.

Kill the Villainess

Complete | Haegi,Your april | 2021 released

So good! Aside from the secondary male leads, who were just there to represent selfishness under the guise of helping someone, the other characters were so interesting in their motivations and pretty fleshed out. I especially loved that MC was committed to actually going back home, even if she found someone she loved. It was perfect that he was able to follow her over, it's so true that they'd be much happier together in the modern world. The premise of the story was definitely unique, I've never seen another one where the MC genuinely plays a villain in a way that's hard for even herself. ★★★★☆

Fun, overpowered MC that finally gets the life he deserves after he died unfairly the first time. You can't even be upset at how lucky he is because there is so much effort he puts in behind the scenes. Plus, this life was literally made by a god so that he wouldn't have to suffer anymore. All that and there was still well-written conflict where the stakes were still life-threatening and would've been worse for others who didn't have MC's tenacity and kindness. One of the best things in the story was the villain. I love me a deep, three-dimensional antagonist. Every step of the way you want him to overcome his trauma so he can be friends with the MC. As much as I understood him and felt sympathetic, I'm also glad that the author didn't redeem him. Sometimes simple separation and acceptance is a more fitting ending than redemption or damnation.
