the king's nephew, alvis rubelia velias(alois in ch.1) replaces prince gerald as the crown prince as well as fiancé to elina from the house of duke lithart and even gets to form a contract with the goddess! this is due to former crown prince gerald suddenly annuling his engagement to elina in front of a crowd and even accusing her of bullying a certain baron's daughter even though he was publicly cheating on his then fianceé with the said baron's daughter. the nerve!
like seriously though, this is what's mostly annoying with these isekai plots. they cheat openly but then justify it in the name of falling in love as opposed to an arranged marriage.
