The story is interesting with a good plot twist in the early stages. But reading this again I realized that it fucks up by dragging the misunderstanding too far. It also makes Mari out to be nothing but crap. By the end of it every character is selfish and a bag of trash basically. To have them split up and have a time jump at the end broke everything. Because it just showed that something that could easily be resolved by talking is i possible for these guys. They're just gonna break up again and again. It's a toxic relationship. And it also makes gay people seem like they automaticly sleep around when not with their true love and that's such a tired trope.
