Nagi is a half blood yokai, his father is the head of the yokai world and his mother who was human, died when he was young which lead to him being tossed around from home to home in the human world. One day while he was walking home on his birthday after picking up some food, he is suddenly attacked by a monster yokai and saved by a humanoid crow yokai who tells Nagi that he was sent by his (crow's) father to protect him since he's come of the age that yokai are no longer forbidden from harming a human. (Kinky twist is that the lower yokai are after him are targeting his sexual energy to make them more powerful because he has the blood of a powerful yokai.)

MC is apart of a special tribe completely composed of men whose first sexual encounter determines their sex, as tradition they annually host a tournament where the loser is chosen to be bride/sacrifice for a neighbor tribe in order for there to continue to be peace between them. The ML is from the neighboring tribe who also have special characteristics in the fact that the tribe members with the strongest/potent blood such as the leaders, are able to morph into shark men. The MC & ML end up eloping before his coming of age tournament when the ML gets injured and his blood that has aphrodisiac side effects, influences the MC and the ML in return for him having a long unrequited love for him.
