Yoo Taehyuk's family is concerned that the Dragon Deity of their family is planning on leaving the Yoo family upon waking up from his 300 yrs long slumber because he wishes to seek out his mate that he senses that he might have been reborn. Taehyuk takes the place of his sister to negotiate with the dragon to reconsider leaving his family, taking advantage of the fact that the dragon lost his memories of his mates appearance and voice. Taehyuk proposes that he might be his mate reborn and that they should try cohabitating to see if the dragon will get his memories back.

Jahid & Cyric are distant descendents of a dragon, descendants called Dreeks/Drics. While Jahid is on a mission to find & destroy all of the Dragon relics created from parts of their dragon ancestor. Cyric is a royal knight serving the capitals novels wishes to cut down all speak differently of reported history of how dragon ancestors truly came to be. The public had always been told that the dragon & a princesses love for one another is what was the foundation for dreek/dragon descendants but the truth is far darker & is what drives Jahid to destroy all of what remains of his ancestor within the dragon relics.
