I Stan the Prince
The FL is obnoxiously carefree. There is a thin line between carefree and clueless. She’s delusional beyond all ends, to the point of risking her life. The plot and story don’t hold together. The ML is overpowered, can’t we have a scene of him losing a fight at least? The crown princess is supposed to be a powerful character with a high standing but apparently her and FL are just completely in love with the ML. I don’t completely hate it though, the art is nice and this does have potential to save itself from previously mentioned issues. I hope the FL will have good character development and the plot will get better. Update: Nevermind. There’s no hope. The FL didn’t pass elementary school and has absolutely zero comprehension skills. This story has become really, really dislikeable.
The Duchess' 50 Tea Recipes
Generic reincarnation manwha and boring love story. The plot is the same as every isekai manwha. Nothing heart wrenching or impressive. FL must’ve laced her tea with drugs or something cause why does everyone swoon over her after one sip of the damn tea? The plot is just tea. Distasteful romance. ML is like a robot, he literally does not have a personality. Art is nothing special. The quality of the chapters have slowly downgraded.
Please Give Me the Pacifier
Pretty bad so far. Each chapter is going nowhere. The female lead’s past isn’t really that interesting or tragic to me. I was expecting gut-wrenching revenge from the female lead but she still hasn’t passed her baby stages. Can’t she progress into a toddler at least? I can’t take her seriously as a powerful mage when she’s crawling on the floor. The people in her family are so dumb, I don’t understand why they’re abusing a baby. At first they threatened to kill her but then the very next chapter, they’re taking care of her. I have a feeling this will be similar to the manwha “Lady Baby” which I did not like. So boring. I might drop this.
I Raised My Childhood Friend as a Tyrant
I don’t like the ml, he’s just so bland. The female lead is also dumb, how could you live the same life two times yet still be so immature? I wouldn’t recommend this manwha to new readers, you’d only waste your time with this boring plot. I read up to chapter 27, but I just can’t anymore. Personally, I wouldn’t ever read this manwha again even if I reincarnated a million times. I give two stars instead of one because of the art.
Suddenly Became a Princess One Day
The art is like eye-candy and this is the first manwha that I read. I don’t really find the plot interesting but it does have some surprising events. The arc where Athy’s father forgot his memories was a little unexpected. I like how Athy was left to fend for herself and was put under a stressful situation instead of being a privileged and rich little princess. In the recent chapters, Athy has to choose between Ijekiel and Lucas. I feel like Athy has been misleading Ijekiel even though she doesn’t have feelings for him. We all know that Lucas is endgame so that was a little unnecessary. I find it all a little boring and obnoxious. I do empathize with Athy’s sad backstory, I love the tear-inducing and tragic past that Athy had to endure. But the story was all over the place, and it ended up being a happy ending.
Lucia
Ugh, disappointing. Apparently, the ML is a ruthless and powerful ruler. FL is weak asf and has a traumatic backstory. She suddenly proposes a contract where they both marry, and ML accepts?! Tha fuck? Apparently, this is supposed to be a contract without ‘love’ but the very next week, they’re all over each other. It feels extremely rushed and their love story has no background. How the fuck did ML fall in love instantly? Makes no sense. The story tries to portray that FL is a strong and independent person, but that’s not the case. She’s obnoxious asf and after the contract, she got to move into ML’s house which is big as a fuckin palace but she’s still complaining that ML doesn’t eat lunch or breakfast with her. The art is atrocious to me. Why do the eyes and lips look like that? ML is so fucking ugly I can’t look at him for more than 5 seconds. The plot is boring and uninteresting. ML supposedly has a traumatic past and therefore, I would expect him to not fall in love so easily. Look at their size difference! How tf is FL not dead from having sex with him every day??Damn, everything is terrible. People say that the novel is better but this was severely disappointing.
I Raised the Beast Well
Well, this has a slightly different plot compared to other Shoujo manwha. Apparently, FLis the god that the ancient animals worship or some shit. It’s pretty interesting and ML is one of the most powerful ancient animals(?). I find it a little weird that ML is always in cat form, I can’t take him seriously because of it. Our FL is a little.. meh? She doesn’t really have much character or striking personality traits. I think that the art is pretty so I hope that the story impresses me once completed.
I'll Be The Matriarch In This Life
This has really good art. But I think the first chapter was too quick-paced. The author shows that Florentia has a sad past where she loses everything, from house, to royal status. But I don’t sympathize with her at all, I wish they showed more scenes of the consequences of when Florentia was kicked out of the house, and she was homeless, instead of her just drinking at a bar and being hit by a carriage. She reincarnates to when she was 7 years old and is soon classified as a ‘genius’. It’s very unrealistic for a toddler to present business ideas and read thick chapter books. The plot is that Florentia reincarnates and gets revenge on the people that kicked her out of the house. It’s not really interesting since I know that she’ll succeed. And I feel like everyone is really dumb compared to Florentia, who is seven years old. Especially some of the family members who have zero personality. The villains in this story don’t really feel like an obstacle at all for Florentia. Whatever, let’s just see how the story turns out.
Actually, I was the Real One
I really like this. The author successfully made me feel frustrated when telling us about Keira’s previous life. It’s very tear-jerking and I was so fucking mad at Cosette and that bitchass father she had. Anyway, FL reincarnates and seeks for revenge on Cosette. Unlike other people, I actually don’t dread the father that much. In his past life, he was tricked by Cosette (Not to excuse that he’s a fucking douchebag and didn’t give her an ounce of affection). Throughout the story, I noticed that Keira’s father has a lot of character development and cares for her significantly more unlike during her previous life. And it’s not his fault for treating Keira that way. He later says that he just followed the tradition of the Parvis family and treated Keira with resolute and no affection just as how he was treated when he was growing up. If you’re taught that way, you’ll teach that way. I have a hunch on why Keira’s father was tricked so easily. Cosette said, ‘You humans have weaknesses’ to Keira or something along those lines, which means that she doesn’t group herself with humans. This could mean that Cosette is either a spirit (?) or a demon, that used its power in order to trick Keira’s father. I love how the author incorporates the supernatural aspect in this story and includes ‘spirits’. Our strong FL better not let Cosette take those spiritual powers again. Anyways, the building plot has slow pacing (not in a bad way) but I love seeing the rage on Cosette’s face. I think the peak moment of revenge will be satisfying due to this slow building plot. Update: I’ve learned that in the novel, Keira’s dad was a complete douchebag. Turns out, he turned back time only for himself and the family’s honor. I am happy to see that he has redeeming qualities in the manwha but its truly unforgivable. Might start a hate club about him.
