The Taming of The Tyrant
I like this so far. The plot is ehhh.. but whatever. FL’s backstory was touching. She grew up with toxic family members who did not give one fuck about her and abused her while growing up. The FL became strong asf but still was unable to please her family in the end, she tragically died while being used as a sword for 400 years. And now, she reincarnates. Surprise! She’s now determined to take down the empire by using Dylan (the ML) and training him to be a tyrant. I’m not surprised that our FL was able to seduce Dylan so easily. The art is beautiful and quite detailed. I feel like there should be more obstacles in FL’s journey to take down the empire, it’s a little bit lack-luster as she breezes through every difficulty presented to her with ease. I feel like ML is creepy asf and gets jealous easily.. you know, the yandere type that’s only nice to his crush? I don’t understand why FL wants to run away after defeating the empire though and I don’t want to bother rereading it. Maybe she doesn’t want to deal with creepy ML? I don’t know. I look forward to seeing her run away. And there are some questions that are still unanswered about how and why FL reincarnated. Apparently, another guy from the past reincarnates as well and I’m confused about it. Hopefully these questions will be answered and the author won’t leave any holes behind.
See You In My 19th Life
What? 19 lives is a little excessive. Jieum doesn’t even mention any in-depth story of her past lives. In her 18th life, she falls in love with a boy and gets into a car accident and dies while trying to save this boy. If you’ve lived 18 lives, you’ve probably experienced everything life has to give. That’s why I don’t understand why and how Seoha became that special to her. Is it the power of love or something? The author killed her off too early during the 18th life and left an underdeveloped relationship between Jieum and Seoha. When the car accident happened, it was really anticlimactic and I didn’t feel sad at all. Clearly, the author just wanted to get started on the main story as soon as possible. I find Jieum’s efforts to seduce Seoha to be funny. But if I were Seoha, and someone randomly confessed to me, I would think that person is either a creep or a stalker. When Jieum finally revealed that she was Joowon, I expected it to be satisfying but it was lacking. There are a few holes in this manga and the plot isn’t exactly special. Read on Webtoon.
The Flower of Heaven
Well, that was utter garbage. I initially had low expectations but this fails at all of my standards. FL supposedly transmigrates to a new world by falling off a cliff while trying to find flowers and wakes up at a new world in a pool of water. It is then revealed that she is a goddess and is basically kidnapped by the ML because he forces her to stay in that world. First of all, what the actual fuck? That is a terrible way to introduce the main characters. The readers have to look at the character portfolios in order to know wtf is going on. FL is a random ass botanist that dies after trying to search for a flower. Apparently, FL has floral powers and that’s why the author made her a botanist. Boring. At first, I expected a strong and clever FL, but she is actually incompetent and weak. You’d expect a ‘goddess’ who is supposed to save everyone from danger to be strong, right? But she nearly dies from her recklessness by being shot by an arrow whilst trying to go to the altar where she thinks that she transmigrated from. And the author doesn’t even mention why tf she was shot by an arrow. She’s still walking around near palace grounds, shouldn’t it be more heaviliy guarded especially because it’s an altar? She’s so fucking dumb and annoying. ML is also ignorant and has zero personality. I could care less about that magic curse that binds them together and how if one of them gets wounded, the other will take the same damage. The story vaguely hints that the ML and FL have met before but I don’t give a shit. At the beginning, FL was being stubborn asf and not listening to ML. After she saw that ML killed someone, I thought she’d be even more resistant but the very next day, she’s in his arms and is falling for him. And that white haired dude named Uriel instantly fell for the FL and makes ML jealous. How tf did Uriel instantly fall for her within 2 days of seeing each other? It’s unbelievably cliche and poorly written. Oh and that green-haired maid, it’s painfully obvious that she’s the spy that was sent by that person trying to kill FL. The author didn’t even try to make it discreet, like… we have brains with comprehension skills you know. Enough with the shitty characters, let’s talk about the nonsensical plot. In the prologue, it says that FL will save the world by fighting against this villain (?). FL doesn’t look like she has any supernatural powers besides from the time where a bunch of vines saved her from falling down from the altar. And why didn’t the vines stop the arrow instead? But surely a few vines won’t be enough to stop that villain, right? Or will the author bless the FL with OP powers and completely rush the story? Neither outcomes will turn out good. There’s no redeeming this.
Choose Your Real Daddy Tyrant
This story is so, so, so terrible. Within the first chapter, I already have a load of issues with this manwha. The first chapter introduces all of the male characters in some dumbass tea party where they’re playing as a family. The pacing is already fucked up right here. The author dumps a bunch of info about all the male characters instead of letting the story flow. I would’ve preferred it if the first chapter didn’t exist and the female lead just slowly met all of the male characters. And apparently, all of these male characters are speculated to be the female lead’s father. But no one knows who the real one is because the female lead’s mother slept with all of them. That’s just some dumb bullshit. What kind of trope is this? It also makes the female lead’s mom look bad. Apparently, the female lead isekai’d into this novel she read or was currently reading. So it’s unclear if she read all of the novel or just to the arc where the princess dies at 12 years old. In her previous life, she was supposedly a genius who studied how to transmigrate into another world because she was obsessed with otome games. If she was obsessed with otome games, why did she not reincarnate into an otome game instead of a novel? “Super theory of reincarnation”…That sounds dumb asf. She spent her lifetime doing this stupid research that wouldn’t make her any money. Clearly, the author made up this dumb crap so it could be a cover story of how she reincarnates into the novel. Just say that she was genius who got hit by a truck or some shit. Actually, the whole story is dumb. The concept in which she has 4 daddies, is literally impossible. She’s a princess, so it’s obvious who the dad is. It’s the one who steps up to become the king, but.. the author did not add a king. The female lead is the princess of a kingdom. And a kingdom needs a king to rule, if there’s no king then the kingdom should’ve collapsed. So now the whole trope is useless. And there’s some weird magic going on. Magic clothing that knocks people out if the person doesn’t possess royal blood? What the fuck is that? In that case, why don’t they make some clothing that will knock people out unless they are the king? That way, you could find out who her father is in no time. And theres the magic with the ribbon + gem that changes your appearance to an adult. If the original princess from the novel possessed all of this knowledge, then how did she get killed at the age of 12? She could’ve changed her appearance and escaped. Then, we find out that the magic gem actually explodes when thrown at people. Why didn’t the original princess throw these magic gems at her mercenaries? Makes no sense. The female lead acts and thinks like a child, even though during her previous life, she was supposedly a genius. I hate when the author claims that a character is a genius but then fails to deliver said quality. The art is okay but it’s nothing that can save this poorly-written story.
My Husband Hides His Beauty
What.. I don’t know what’s going on in this story. There’s a bunch of dumb events going on and little to no development about Leticia’s and Erden’s relationship. Demon king this, making a religion that, breaking Erden’s curse bullshit. Like oh my god, I don’t care about that. It’s painfully uninteresting. And I think the male lead has depression or something because he has the lowest self esteem known to the manwha-world.
Ice Flower Knight
What the heck. How did her skin color change after breaking the ‘ugly’ curse? It’s weird and I don’t understand why they changed it? Those are some dumbass beauty standards. Story is really plain and the pacing was very fast. I expected it to take years to break the curse but it all happened within a few chapters. It’s piling on a bunch of random shit to keep it interesting. Now it’s going to speed straight into romance with the male lead. Art is decent. Overall, a shitty story.
I Found a Husband When I Picked Up the Male Lead
Every character in this story is so annoying. It has a really unoriginal plot which makes the whole thing really boring. The female lead has an obnoxious personality and the male lead has little to no personality. Lapel is so fucking annoying. Always whining and wanting to be with Lizelle who isn’t even his mom, gosh I hate children. There are no conflicts and it’ll most likely speed into useless romance. Such a shitty manwha.
I've Become A Crow
Not bad so far. The author utilizes perspective really well. I would’ve preferred it if it was reincarnation but it turned out to be an Isekai. The pacing is going at 50mph but not in a bad way? The author manages to create a compelling relationship between the male lead and the female lead in just the span of a few chapters. We’re probably going to have an arc where the male lead gets revenge and then jump right into romance with the female lead. But we’ll have to see as the story goes on, I hope it turns out well. The art is super impressive and the quality is consistent throughout chapters. I was a little hesitant to read this because the idea that the female lead is a crow was very strange to me. But within the first chapter, I was proven wrong. The crow is drawn very well with accurate anatomy. I really like it. I love how the female lead and the male lead grow closer despite her being a crow. I don’t see much depth in the male lead’s personality even though he often mentions his tragic past. I like the female lead so far, but sometimes she just swoons over the male lead and constantly praises him for being so handsome and I can’t understand why she is doing so. Hopefully she doesn’t drool over the male lead like other female protagonists. Cough. Libertia. Cough. Well, I can’t expect much since there are only 6 chapters.. I know it’s unavoidable but I don’t want the female lead to turn into a human. I love their relationship as a ‘master and familiar’. I have high hopes so the author better not fuck it up.
Kondo wa Korosaretakunai Azarashi-san
Really cute concept. I love the female lead’s personality, she’s very entertaining. But I wonder how this story will progress, so far it’s just a bunch of events that happen at her workplace. The art is so good.
Actually, I was the Real One
