The Emperor's Dog
Wtf? She became a dog of two princes or something, that’s weird as fuck. Apparently she wants to become human so the two prince could love her. Who wrote this shit?
Suddenly Became a Princess One Day
The art is like eye-candy and this is the first manwha that I read. I don’t really find the plot interesting but it does have some surprising events. The arc where Athy’s father forgot his memories was a little unexpected. I like how Athy was left to fend for herself and was put under a stressful situation instead of being a privileged and rich little princess. In the recent chapters, Athy has to choose between Ijekiel and Lucas. I feel like Athy has been misleading Ijekiel even though she doesn’t have feelings for him. We all know that Lucas is endgame so that was a little unnecessary. I find it all a little boring and obnoxious. I do empathize with Athy’s sad backstory, I love the tear-inducing and tragic past that Athy had to endure. But the story was all over the place, and it ended up being a happy ending.
Lucia
Ugh, disappointing. Apparently, the ML is a ruthless and powerful ruler. FL is weak asf and has a traumatic backstory. She suddenly proposes a contract where they both marry, and ML accepts?! Tha fuck? Apparently, this is supposed to be a contract without ‘love’ but the very next week, they’re all over each other. It feels extremely rushed and their love story has no background. How the fuck did ML fall in love instantly? Makes no sense. The story tries to portray that FL is a strong and independent person, but that’s not the case. She’s obnoxious asf and after the contract, she got to move into ML’s house which is big as a fuckin palace but she’s still complaining that ML doesn’t eat lunch or breakfast with her. The art is atrocious to me. Why do the eyes and lips look like that? ML is so fucking ugly I can’t look at him for more than 5 seconds. The plot is boring and uninteresting. ML supposedly has a traumatic past and therefore, I would expect him to not fall in love so easily. Look at their size difference! How tf is FL not dead from having sex with him every day??Damn, everything is terrible. People say that the novel is better but this was severely disappointing.
Death Is The Only Ending For The Villainess
This is certainly one of the better Shoujo manwhas. The art is pretty good too. It has a regular isekai plot but I like how Penelope is treated badly in her noble family instead of growing up as a rich and privileged princess that owns everything. I think that she deserves the title ‘strong female lead’, well I also think that everyone around her are simply assholes but she has survived a great deal of life-threatening events. I also love how the author includes MC’s abusive family and relates it to the noble family in the otome game and how she feels about them. It’s interesting so far, I hope the author doesn’t do anything that fucks it up.
The Way to Protect the Female Lead's Older Brother
The art is dazzling. I like the FL because compared to other manwha protagonists, she is quite ruthless. But all the other characters (such as her family members) are all assholes. I guess it’s to be expected because it’s a villain household. The plot is a little senseless. I don’t understand how FL’s family believed that Cassis was dead for 3 years. And from what I remember, FL wants to save ML so she could save herself from being killed by ML’s sister or something (I’m not going to bother rereading it). I think ML has stock holmes syndrome, how did he fall in love with a family member of someone who kidnapped AND tortured him? I understand that Roxana is supposedly ‘the most beautiful’ person in the world but shouldn’t he have some grudges at least? I find it a little boring, but I’m still hooked and I want to find out how it ends.
I'll Be The Matriarch In This Life
This has really good art. But I think the first chapter was too quick-paced. The author shows that Florentia has a sad past where she loses everything, from house, to royal status. But I don’t sympathize with her at all, I wish they showed more scenes of the consequences of when Florentia was kicked out of the house, and she was homeless, instead of her just drinking at a bar and being hit by a carriage. She reincarnates to when she was 7 years old and is soon classified as a ‘genius’. It’s very unrealistic for a toddler to present business ideas and read thick chapter books. The plot is that Florentia reincarnates and gets revenge on the people that kicked her out of the house. It’s not really interesting since I know that she’ll succeed. And I feel like everyone is really dumb compared to Florentia, who is seven years old. Especially some of the family members who have zero personality. The villains in this story don’t really feel like an obstacle at all for Florentia. Whatever, let’s just see how the story turns out.
The Princess Imprints a Traitor
Mmm this is interesting. FL dies by being poisoned by her bitchass sister after living an awful life. ML was apparently that bitchass sister’s bf, it turns out that ML loved FL all along and was trying to get with her by ruining the empire (?). FL reincarnates and wants to avoid dying again. The art is quite nice. I love how the author portrays that FL is not a person with high status within the royal family and how she experiences many obstacles to become the crown empress. And I like that there’s actual difficulty to those obstacles instead of FL just breezing through all of it. Excited for the revenge this has to offer Everything went downhill. No longer interested.
The Lady and the Beast
My first thought: Dafuq? Why is ML a wolf? I expected it because of the title but doesn’t the male lead being a furry creep you out? Anyway, this is a little different. We have a strong FL. So far, I like her dominant personality and her skills in swordsmanship. However, her tragic backstory isn’t really sad to me at all. The way the author portrays about how FL lost everything was a little too rushed. She gets harassed by a king and then decides to get revenge by saving the king’s brother and killing the king. Soon after, she gets heartbroken by the king’s brother and dies alone. She reincarnates, LOOKING EXACTLY the same. I find that a little ridiculous. She marries the duke of Atalenta who is cursed to be a wolf. And umm, from what I’ve read so far, the plot is just the FL helping the ML turn back to a human by giving him kisses? FL is a comedic tho, “it’s not getting hard” IM DEAD
The Lady I Served Became a Young Master
Boring. The art is pretty but there are some anatomical problems. I don’t really like the female lead’s personality, she’s just not it. Why does she act like a total dumbo sometimes? She rejected the male lead even after seeing how much he loved her. I just wanna slap her in the face. The plot? Boring as shit. Just a romance story and I find the fact that the male lead was forced to pretend to be a girl pretty weird. I don’t really like how the female lead plays in the character of a maid either, it’s similar to “Sincerely, I became the duke’s maid”. And I hated that manwha. Dropped.
