alright, the art looked nice some times, but at other times it was like a clump of meat and very disfigured. but ignoring that, the plot had a lot of potential to be more than what it is. i kinda of see where the author was trying to go with the whole horror and cult town vibes, but it kinda lost me when she went from being "okay i'll escape so forget them" to "i feel so welcomed and truly loved" like girl what??? it definitely was creepy in the beginning for sure, but i think the side story explains everything really. uhhh, so in a nutshell, these men live off of their lover's pain and hardships and the more they go through and endure (the bride), the more powerful they get (the man). and with that power, they can protect their town and keep the harmony ... at least that's what i got from it

why am i reading this scary shit at 11pm, literally gave me the heebie-jeebies, but we finally figured out who the culprit really is! but damn bro, can't you just learn to let go? talk about delusional
