Solid feel good story. If it were longer and had time to go deeper, I'd give it 5 stars. Healthy relationship moving forward. I really liked how the younger one figured out what he wants to do with his life and they're both moving forward.

I would have rated this 5/5 stars, but for a few things: 1) it gets a bit melodramatic with the abusive boyfriend for my tastes, 2) the story is a bit generic. It's realistic, and the characters are developed well, but it feels like it's "just enough" development for each point it wants to make. Very very close to 5 star rating though. 4.5/5. The mother's journey to understanding and accepting her son is similar to that of "My Son is Probably Gay". Though the latter is longer, more detailed, and more intimate.

sequel to Bitter Cigar

Couple met at 18 and 28yo, but are now in their 50s and 60s. Not sure what age(s) this manga covers, but this looks very promising. 5.5 chapters out so far, but still ongoing.

Seems to have a similar vibe to Umibe No Etranger.
