guy brings home the wrong AC unit. 5/10 but a 7 in my heart

Okay 1) did the uke in the first story have the power to make roses?!?!? and 2) ch 4 with impersonator bully one was frickin weird. The art is very interesting and I love the designs, but I was confused for a lot of that. The college psychic pair was my favorite, tho the crossdressing one is a close second 7/10. It's a 6 really but the art gives it a boost.

Guy happens to see a very skeletal looking salaryman on the shinkansen one day and cant stop observing him. By chance they start talking and bond over horse racing. It's a slow story. Everything is revealed through Tohru's internal thoughts and his conversations with his friends and with Makoto. These two create a safe space together. The story has a strong atmosphere and sense of direction. Makoto crying because he's so overwhelmed that Tohru would cry for his sake is incredibly touching. There's so much about this that I love; I just cant express it well. I was rooting for Makoto to quit his job but I'm actually happier that it seems his power harassing boss has actually improved. Rather than running away, i love the aubtle message that these situations CAN improve and that we should aim to improve them. It gives me a bit of hope. (But also I'm all for starving out companies that dont treat their employees right bc we cant all afford to play the long game.) 9/10. This is a masterfully crafted story.

Is there ike a chapter missing btwn ch 4 and 5 cuz that sure.... skipped a lot 6/10

Ch 1-2: Buddhist priest x his friend from high school. Lots of casual kinship, which I'd a plus for me. Rare to see a bald character, let's gooo Ch 3-4: kid at a video rental store has a voice kink for his coworkers voice. After a lil drama, they start going out. Kid is constantly red as a tomato. Cute! I like this mangaka quite a bit 7/10. Needs more from both couples tbh.

Ch 1: A aspiring writer working as a bell hoy has a one night stand with a visiting model and falls in love despite himself. Ch 2: The son of some important person has been kidnapped by a group of terrorists. He's attracted to the gruff guy lowkey in charge of him but it's just not meant to be. 8/10

That cant be it. No way that's it. We were just getting started. Jonathan is a med student just tryna live his life. He and his professor, the affluent Paul Haskins, take turns seducing each other, getting on each others nerves, and dancing endlessly around their almost lovers relationship. A lot of the conflict centers around honesty, being honest with others but and to yourself. The characters dredge up old, painful memories and have to grapple with a very homophobic, rich people culture that just... [insert sigh here] Update ch 8.5. ??????? The... the alternate ending feels like it resolved even less????? It was good. 8/10

Ch 1: guy reunites with his old art teacher years later Ch 2: guy runs away to Germany to escape a bad breakup and winds up living with a beautiful half japanese man in his cafe. Ch 3: a mysterious man asks a mage to heal his brothers foot. Once healed, the brother asks to become the mages apprentice. 7/10

Policeman with a masochistic side gets caught by his bright eyed puppy subordinate and they start fucking. Theres drama, there's angst, theres some darker stuff from the uke's past Overall solid. 7 or 8/10
