Last Order wa Ojou-san de Dekiai Jouren Kyaku ni Kyuuai saretemasu
dropped at ch 4. hot guy but i'm always irritated by submissive, naïve girls plus the age gap really makes it feel like the guy is taking advantage of her. -_- idk. she's sheltered and it's rubbing me the wrong way. not my preference. 6/10
My Childhood Friend Can't Be This Big!
Dropped at ch 10 or smth. This is dumb. The girl is dumb af who tf tells a rando unlike where they live AND that they live alone??? You block those creeps ASAP. Also the dirty talk was kinda cringe. No thanks 4/10
Ukedan Governess
pegging but kinda gross. not into teacher x student stuff it's always creepy
Isn’t Being A Wicked Woman Much Better?
Dropped at ch 25. Another generic villainess isekai. I'm really not into these. The characters at least feel like they have... something of a personality but they still feel pretty flat. 4/10. I was bored for half of it but I did laugh at least once
Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko!
Happy to see tomo-chan getting new love thanks to the anime
Him & Him & Him
Ngl... it's kinda weird that shes having sex with two brothers and their uncle... and then when she marries the uncle... shes now their aunt. Like... what in the Alabama did I just read? It was consensual but I really really did not like that whole... possessive... monologue(?) the uncle had. Idk. This was on the verge of a yikes for me Also gripe: This story really refused to show her pregnant huh? She had a flat stomach the entire frickin time =_= 5/10. Not as bad as I was expecting
Gokusen
Daughter of the yakuza becomes the teacher of a bunch if high school delinquents. She's so much fun and I love the genuine, caring, rough and tumble relationship she's built with her students. She's fiercely protective of them and they appreciate her in their own clumsy way. All the characters a super fun. I love the yakuza guys crying everytime something goes down with Yankumi. I also appreciate that they're still immoral yakuza even if they fiercely value family, loyalty and honor. Honestly this is (almosy) everything I wanted GTO to be. About a third thru, the focus shifts from the students to the yakuza, which is a shame cuz I was really enjoying the teacherness. We never REALLY get to know the students individually. Kuma I think is the only one we get to know on a deeper level. (me huffing copium that a manga from the early 2000s will have progressive ideas and treat women like people. Edit: To my surprise, it actually kinda did! Kinda!) We got SO close to getting a romance free story but tbh it wasnt intrusive and did add to the comedy of the characters. SPOILER I did almost cry over Shinohara leaving at the end. It really felt like they were losing a member of the family. Pain. Overall, I honestly enjoyed this a lot. Some of it hasn't aged well like the only openly gay teacher being an actual pedo and some... many... if the comments about the only other female teacher but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasnt grotesquely sexist or bigoted. So like. Sugoi. 7/10
Araki-kun wa Kai narasenai
Been a while since I read a pure shoujo. It's a bit rushed and messy and very very cliche, but it's cute. Yakko's younger sister and mother are both big actresses so shes left alone a lot. Then the popular actor Araki shows up at her house and confesses and Yakko falls in love and theres some very minor angst and drama. Yakko's family lowkey sucks, Araki is a very enthusiastic puppy bf, and Yakko herself is a pretty generic nice girl. 5/10
Otona no Hitomebore. ~ Jiko Shoukai wa Shiitsu no Uede
Um, girl has a grocery stores passed to her by her father, and it ain't doing well.. Hot rich guy showsmup, claims he fell for her at first sight, and then things more or less happen. Wow hes got a bad habit of kissing her to shut her up. Not a fan of that. Generally pretty boring, way too rushed to do anything and ended so abruptly I got jump-started by the end screen. 3/10
