stressedpenguin's manga / #office workers(136)

Isso Koe ga Nakattara

Complete | SARUWAKA Chimi | 2018 released

The way that relationship happened was very... forced?? Everything about this manga felt forced. I wish this had dedicated way more time to the seme understanding the uke's disability instead of slapping that in the final couple chapters. The whole conflict with the girl was just weird and forced and didn't do anything other than villainize a cartoonishly bratty woman. 3/10

Retsujou

Complete | MUTOBE Ryo | 2000 released

There was more punching in this than I expected... Uhhh 5/10? 4/10?

Ore to Joushi no Koi no Hanashi

Complete | Nanameguri | 2019 released

Hmm. I dunno. For some reason this relationship feels unbalanced... I hope the uke learns how to express himself honestly and the seme stops being so damn pushy?? 6/10

Old Friends

Ongoing | Ayuko | 2019 released

The abortion comment is kinda clumsily inserted into their conflict. What is it referring to??? Did Takase's MOM get an abortion after sleeping around? Did TAKASE herself get an abortion after sleeping around? Why did Kana bring up abortion specifically and not careless pregnancies, which I think would've been more of a natural escalation? There just wasn't enough foreshadowing for "abortion" to be the major conflict. Idk. Was pretty good, just very short and trying to tackle multiple issues at the same time. 5/10

Otodokemono Desu!

Complete | fuduki atsuyo | 2011 released

All of these end really abruptly name on MAL is Otokokemono Desu!

Kore Mo Shigoto Desu

Complete | nerima zim | 2015 released

I kinda liked the seme's insecurity at the start, like the uke is willing to wait for him to feel secure in the relationship, but then it just gets repetitive. They have the same avoidance, argument, sex twice more and then the story ends. Idk. 4/10
