That was strange. The author wanted the drama of "dont talk to me anymore" but didn't want to actually split the characters up. So what we get in the first two chapters is a toxic noncon relationship where the seme forces the uke at every turn. Then tells him to stay away which makes the seme sad for plot reasons, and then they're immediately paired together for the remainder of the series just... slightly nicer???
