Even If It’s Not a Dramatic Love
Seme's new roommate suddenly comes onto hin only to reveal he's a virgin who recently figured out he was gay. Seme offers (in a genuinely nice way) to be the uke's first sex partner. 7/10
Megane To Koi To Aoi Tori
Ch 1-3: Plain, outcast uke x hot popular seme who are childhood friends and the seme has been totally in love with the uke the whole time. This is perhaps the most cliche way to do this trope. Theres some drama that leaned heavily on the uke's insecurity, but honestly, I enjoyed it. Its very like... meal well made? Comfort food? Ch 4-5: uhhh I'll be honest i dont remember much about the second story. It's another popular seme x not popular uke. Uke has a big family. Seme has a touch home life and takes refuge in teasing the uke. It's fine. Overall 5/10 but still enjoyable
Nobara to Pretender
Last read ch 9. Been a WHILE since I got to read a fake to real lovers in a historical adjacent setting~ Update ch 7. That was uh.. abrupt. His mom dies, they grieve, and then he gets kidnapped all in one chapter huh Update ch 9. Wow they really crammed every other Regency drama trope into those last three chapters. Wound up mot enjoying this nearly as much as I expected. 4/10 mostly for the breakneck speed of that last bit
Practiced Liar
MC is a psychic who's ability to read minds has ruined a couple friendships. He's not eager to get into a romantic relationship but finds himself falling for the timid freshman who approached him at a club meeting (?). Overall, I thought it was cute. The psychic powers felt almost... unnecessary to the story with how little it was actively used. I know it's a major drama point of the story, but it felt a bit more gimmicky than I expected. Overall 6/10
Aishiteruze Baby
Playboy high schooler's aunt disappeared, leaving behind a little girl. To teach him some responsibility, our playboy MC is put in charge of the little girl, and he quickly becomes attached to this cheerful young girl who deserves so much better than a mom who runs out on her Update ch 14. Starting to try and tackle some really heavy themes (child abuse and suicidal ideation). It's not the best handling, but I'm overall happy. Not that I'm an expert. I'm also really happy that the little girl, Yuzuya, continues to be the center of the story and we havent been derailed by a melodramatic love story Update ch 33. Wow that ending is abrupt and a little irritating. I wish the author had the time to follow through with the aunt having to earn back everyones trust in her by being a part of Yuzu's life for more than... like 10 pages??? Clearly the author wanted to fo that but ran out of time. That's gotta hurt Kippri the most. I actually really liked this one. I love Kippei and Yuzu's relationship. I appreciate that Kippei's romance with Kokoro is important but didnt overshadow Yuzu. There were a few dramatic arcs that I'm siffy on (mostly the noncon kiss from that creep). I think the rest of Kippei's family should have been more involved with Yuzu, but at least they weren't completely detached. This is gonna be a hot take but... Yuzu... her personality wound up being pretty bland. She felt like someone was checking boxes of what they think a kid with abandonment issues would look like. I didnt find her on her own particularly compelling. I mostly cared for her because Kippei cared so much for her and I cared about Kippei. Overall, I'd give this a 7/10
Boku no Naka ni Kimi ga Inai
guy wakes up with amnesia but only about his lover so we know it gon be aaangst Update ch 4. .......Eh? ¯_(ツ)_/¯ their backstory of why they got together is super surface level imo. To me it feels like they're together because this is a BL, and they got into the argument because the story needed them to for plot. Not feeling the impact of this Wound up being a 5/10 for me despite having two of my favorite angst tropes.
Tell Me You Can Hear It
Serious guy who is a sucker for handsome men and handsome guy who can read minds! Was very cute! 7/10
Wakabaryou de, Kimi to
First story is very cute. Some light angst and a lil bit of unrequited love friends to lovers. The two are roommates. The seme goes jogging early in the morning and the uke always wakes up just to see him off. It was sweet. Second story uke was a lil but pathetic but I guess that contributed to his cuteness. Uke is a naive transfer student and seme is a laid back guy who cant help but take care of him Third story was meh. There's an age gap, the uke is a pushover and the seme takes advantage of that. It's a bit more melodramatic but its fine Overall 6 or 7/10
New World Lovetopia
Well if you're into monster fucking, want something that has the vines of being vanilla, and don't mind a bit of breastfeeding and egglaying, this could be the story for you Story wise, 4/10, possibly 3 cuz the MC really is just a replacement for his grandfather and that's just sad Monster fucking wise, 10/10 So 3/10 it is lmao
