Beast No. 6
The Duke's Debt
Torezoa ~Boku no Takaramono~
Hmm that didnt really do it for me. The story was a little hard to understand. It was too short to do much effective planting and payoff, so the memory erasure plot just seemed like an extra, unnecessary obstacle. There also wasnt any payoff about the familiar thing disliking the hero. Idk. I think I would've liked to see the scenes the amnesia hid from us. Gimme that story instead of popping into random villages and fighting random monsters. Basically, feels like the author had too many ideas they wanted to get across in too short a time, and wound up saxeicing clarity to make things fit (which they didnt) 6/10, it was clearly trying to do something, and I appreciate that even if I was a little confused the whole way through name on MAL is Tresor: Boku no Takaramono
A Song of Blood and Fire
I read this a long time ago and remembered likingit. But rereading it now... man I really do not like the seme... Uhhhh the art is really unique and it's rare to see classic fantasy magic in BL so although I'd give it a 4 for story... 5/10
Rojica to Rakkasei
Simultaneously adorable and wholesome and really fucking dark. 8/10??? 9/10???
Hakushaku to Yousei
Ima be honest, I was kinda expecting the Fairy Doctor to ro more than one useful thing in 15 chapters and also know more about fairies and interact with a lot more fairies. Unfortunately this fell into the trap of the shoujo protagonist cannot do anything so that the love interest can be cool and save her. Am disappointed in the fantasy elements. Also friggin Ermine commits suicide for genuinely no reason other than making the ML sad. Overall, disappointed an annoyed. 3/10, at least she wasnt sexually assaulted
Drick's Heat
Genuinely surprised this had a story and a surprisingly good one? They really sandwiches a story of the monstrosity of human greed between chapters upon chapters of Jahid getting railed by the biggest dick of his life. Peak. 7/10
Fushigi Yûgi - Genbu Kaiden
They always introduce the girl as being able to fight and then whenever fights again and constantly needs to be saved. This started to feel repetitive a couple chapters in. The characters spend a lot more time just waiting around for things to happen, which kills any momentum the plot has. The ending is pretty unsatisfying imo. I did really like the premise and how straightforward the goal was. The story never meandered too far from its main plot. And I did feel invested in the characters, which was great. Overall, I think I was just disappointed in the repetitive pacing but would've otherwise enjoyed this manga quite a bit. Mmm 5/10 for me on this one
Monster in a Bubble
Nice short story about a merman who wants to become human and also fucks a bunch 6/10
