Hmm that didnt really do it for me. The story was a little hard to understand. It was too short to do much effective planting and payoff, so the memory erasure plot just seemed like an extra, unnecessary obstacle. There also wasnt any payoff about the familiar thing disliking the hero. Idk. I think I would've liked to see the scenes the amnesia hid from us. Gimme that story instead of popping into random villages and fighting random monsters.
Basically, feels like the author had too many ideas they wanted to get across in too short a time, and wound up saxeicing clarity to make things fit (which they didnt)
6/10, it was clearly trying to do something, and I appreciate that even if I was a little confused the whole way through
